If you’re looking for a classic, no-frills, old-school steakhouse experience at a great value, Best Steakhouse is absolutely worth a visit. Our party of four stopped in on a Saturday evening, expecting a wait since it was prime dinner time but to our pleasant surprise, we were seated and able to order right away. The service was prompt and efficient, and the staff kept things moving smoothly despite the evening rush.

The layout of the restaurant leans on the cozier side, with fairly tight seating throughout most of the dining area, so you’ll likely be close to neighboring tables. However, the atmosphere felt lively rather than cramped, and the team does a good job of keeping traffic flowing. One note for families: there are only two bathrooms, both locked and requiring a pin code for entry, so it may require a short wait if the restaurant is busy.

Now, we ordered a mix of dishes and were very happy with both the flavors and the value. The 14oz Boneless Sirloin and Shrimp ($23.99) was cooked well, tender, and seasoned just right, and the shrimp was a satisfying pairing. The #4 Boneless Sirloin ($19.99)was also a hit, offering excellent quality for the price. The 8oz Chopped Sirloin ($15.99) delivered hearty, comfort-food flavor, and the Kids Hamburger ($5.99) was a solid portion and great value for younger diners.

Overall, Best Steakhouse provides generous portions, quick service, and delicious food without breaking the bank. If you enjoy classic steakhouse dining with a welcoming, community feel, this spot is definitely worth checking out.

Kutcher and Myles wanted to go to dinner this Saturday night to the best steakhouse on White Bear avenue. We had the 14 oz sirloin with 3 butterfly deep fried shrimp, Texas toast, salad, baked potato, and a large soda for $23.99. they Char-Broil the steaks right in front of you as you walk in line to make your salad. This was a super awesome meal at a great price. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone.

Unfortunately I know this place has always been a staple of the area .. however I have not been here for 6 years and tried it again for the first time and I have to report the food was terrible we got the adult chicken tenders which were so tiny and shriveled up and the baked potato was decent but we also got Philly cheese steak sandwiches had the wrong cheese on them , I suspect lamb meat was used and the buns were rock hard … Over all the only thing that ended up being good was the fountain pop 🙁 things took a turn for the worse once the new owners took over I guess ..won’t be returning unfortunately.

SO glad they are back open!! Same flow as before but they added numbers for your order after you make your salad & sit down. Same crew as before, mostly. Good is about the same. I had the lunch Steak Burger for $9.99. Go and show them support after being closed for 20months. Great people!!

This was my first time here, and I was pleasantly surprised!! I assumed it was just “fast food”, but not even. We got there a little after 5 pm, and it filled up quickly behind us. I ordered a NY Strip and they grilled it perfectly. I have no clue how that young man can keep track of all the different orders he’s cooking at once, but he was impressive! Food was excellent and the atmosphere was fun. I’ll definitely be back!

My husband’s Ribeye was chopped and raw…..the shrimp breading was bland and didn’t tell us that we had to order fries with the shrimp basket doesn’t basket mean with fries in a basket?? Horrible experience we could’ve bought our own steaks and shrimp for half the price! We will not be back!

Unique place. Cafeteria line. Very good value Been coming here since the steak burger special was 99cents… Now it’s $9.99

Inexpensive steak specials for lunch. Cooked well, nice simple salad, Texas toast and a baked potato. Still great, nothing fancy tho.
