We stopped in for dinner while visiting on a ski trip. It was a cool old time style ski pub inside with some nice local flair. It was busy and we were lucky to get a seat at the bar. The servers a bartenders were very friendly and accommodating and made sure the food I ordered was safe for me to eat, due to food allergies. I tried the local hockey mom seltzer which was tasty and not too sweet. For my meal I had the maple cider pork chop which was the perfect portion and delicious. The pork was tender and the glaze was the perfect touch. The home made apple sauce was a nice addition and was so fresh. Finally the garlic green beans were a top choice to round out this dinner. If we have time we will go back because apparently they have the best burger in town and it sells out everyday.

The first words from hostess were, do you have a reservation? We didn’t and she said that was fine, they had plenty of tables indoors. Then she recommended we take a picture of their blackboard specials, she said most guests do. Made me giggle inside, why can’t our server tell us but I took the pic.
We were seated quickly and our server was very nice. My husbands burger was exactly how he ordered it, my Asian salad was actually better than I thought except it was missing mandarin organs, they didn’t offer them I’m just expressing how I usually see this dish with them but the dressing made up for it, very good. I had only wanted an appetizer but the wings were boned and server said the chicken tenders were frozen, so the salad was the right choice. We would stop back here if in area again.

Ordered the linguine with Pomodoro sauce (supposedly) and meatballs. The Pomodoro sauce tasted and had the texture of straight up tomato paste – minced tomatoes with sugar. The meatballs were meat with whatever held them together and that’s about it. I was hungry and so I ate it but I don’t think I had a 4.3 star experience.

Amazing place with great atmosphere. Ordered the Belfry wings special, it was really good! Had the maple cider glazed pork rib eye and it was delicious. Good vibe with good music playing overhead. Nice and friendly staff. Definitely try to make reservations. Plenty of parking.

Stopped in for dinner while at Jay. Had the muscles, they were definitely out of this world. Delicious! Had the chicken Alfredo as a main course, it was definitely more scampi looking, tasting and even tasted more like shrimp than chicken , but it too was good. Waitress was friendly, place is super small so make sure you make a reservation.

This is the best food near Jay Peak. Don’t waste your money or an evening eating at the resort. Come here. It’s amazing. The fish dishes or flavorful and fresh. The burger was perfect. The staff here are incredibly helpful and delightful and accommodating. We can’t wait to return and try more things on the menu.

Jay Peak employee suggested this place for dinner. Immediately after opening the front door, the bathrooms are on the left and it was a very bad smell. Not looking good. Kids didn’t like it and we were turned off, especially since the restaurant was almost empty at 7. It soon filled up and the food started to show up. The fresh warm bread was delicious. We weren’t super hungry so I ordered a burger instead of a special on the chalkboard. Burger was very juicy (I asked for medium). Loved the French fries. Wife had mussels and a mushroom soup (very salty) and kids had the chicken tenders. The kids portion was huge!
