My husband and gym family had dinner at Beirut yesterday evening as a group of 14. It was our first time there, just arrived after a 4hr drive from Ohio , and we can collectively say that we were not disappointed. The food was fresh and tasty. The portion sizes were plenty. I’ve never had Lebanese food before but if we are ever back in town, we will be returning to dine here again. The hospitality was incredible. I’m not sure if he was the owner but he kept stopping by to check on our table and ensuring we were comfortable. I ordered the Mixed grill platter and my husband ordered the Chicken Tawook with garlic sauce. All very delicious.

Being a huge fan of middle Eastern food you’d think I’d have dined here before but this was the first time. Thoroughly impressed. The nice old school atmosphere, the service, and of course the food. Taste buds doing a happy dance. We did a mixed platter with lamb, chicken, fries and rice. Baba ganush, fattoush, and an off menu lamb appetizer. Every single items was popping with amazing flavor. Resonable prices, knowledgeable and attentive staff. This place is right up there with the best of its kind of food. You want to impress someone with food here in Toledo? Bring them here.

all hopeful wishes for a good experience. Decor
ambience is absolutely wonderful. In all honesty. What is an impressed by The welcoming. This play seems like a nice escape from the normal. The exception being the sincerity of the servers. Play my sister forgot about there uniqueness on my day I was there.. I did not feel welcomed. Felt like a number. And I felt that way when I left. I don’t need you to feel special. Find no need to feel when I spend $75 an appetizers into drinks that I’m respected as a customer.. I must have done something wrong. I will come back to this establishment but it’s a big no-go / n a h./I’m good with that.. they may have had their run. I won’t likely be supporting it as a fizzle o out.

My wife asked for the stuffed cabbage and the waitress said they don’t have it on the menu, but they eat it all the time in the back.
I got the chicken shawarma and it was huge. Big enough for two.
We had the super sweet and cold rice pudding.
Everything was very good.

Beirut Restaurant is a true Toledo staple with a classic, old-school feel that you just don’t find everywhere anymore. If you love Mediterranean food, this is a must-visit. Their grape leaves and hummus are absolutely amazing. Highly recommend.

Went in a little before 4pm. Nobody dining in but me. Decided on the Beruit Filet Tips as the main course, with Hummus and French onion soup as appetizers. The filet tips were perfect. Cooked just right and incredibly juicy. Rice was the same as what you’d get at almost any Mediterranean restaurant around town. Service was slow once people started showing up. Not because the waitress was busy but from standing at the bar talking. A beautifully decorated place to take friends and family.

Always 5☆ . Food was excellent. Had grilled lamb chops with greenbeans and onions, grape leaves, Ara-yes which is lamb baked in pita bread. Glass of Marlo. And Baklava and rice pudding for desert.
I would HIGHLY recommend this place. You won’t be disappointed.
