This is the most amazing place for drinks in Cheboygen. For the liquor selection they have, they really put it to the best possible use. I would rate this place right up there with places in Grand Rapids I go to for drinks. The MDRD at the top of Amway or the high end bar at the Marriott along with a couple other cocktail lounges I frequent. Yet the prices here are 20-30 % cheaper. For a small town this place is incredible. The main guy I always see behind the counter is simply fantastic at his job. Always well dressed. The other workers are also great. I have been here several times on my way to my parents once or twice a month. I’m selective at using my time to leave great reviews. But I really want this place to stick around. So here we are. Even when it’s busy, you don’t have the same type of loud drunks you will find at the regular bars in the area. It’s loud but balanced. And that’s because I’m writing this on the Saturday this town is celebrating St Patrick’s Day. And it’s the most packed I have ever seen it. Yet still nice and jubilant.

Such a charming place to enjoy a drink and some live music. Their charcuterie boards are excellent. The owners are very kind and make you feel welcome. I would plan a little trip to Cheboygan just to stop here. Also, I highly recommend the tiramisu martini! 10/10

Went last night for music on the patio. It was nice (minus one crazy drunk lady screaming “Whoop Whoop” constantly). Will likely go back again for another music night and hope the crazy lady stays home.
The seating options on the patio left a lot to be desired. Actually saw one of the plastic chairs snap as a male staff member sat in it.

Have been here last year w/my hubby, but spontaneously dropped in when I saw it jamming one evening after grocery shopping. This place is quite a gem! Pretty hip vibe, good drinks, and the music? Eclectic n super good! They r definitely about the music. Love knowing this place is here when we come to our little laid back cottage on Hammond Bay from GR. Just perfect!

Seriously guys the Beau is literally the best bar in this entire town. Trust me we went to all of them. The owner was amazing and accommodated my friends and I for my bachelorette party ! Marty and Kurt played live music that got the whole place crazy! Without the Beau I know my bachelorette party would have not been the same. Don’t waist time going any where else!

We held a bridal shower at The Beau yesterday afternoon, and Marilyn hit a home run!
Everyone who attended loved the venue, and the cocktails were perfect, as well as the charcuterie trays and flatbread pizza. They even had gluten-free crackers for the many cheeses and hummus.
We were there from 4pm until they opened at 6pm. As a host, the guests all complimented our choice of venue!
