We liked the Carolina style BBQ at this restaurant very much. The service was friendly and efficient. The food was very good, but I would give extra stars to the beans, the sweet potato fries, the pulled pork and the wings. The restaurant’s atmosphere is casual and clean but it is not particularly appealing. I would definitely recommend it for anybody at the beach who is looking for a solid BBQ. There are better places in Jacksonville if you are willing to drive, but this is pretty good.

We finally gave The Bearded Pig a try. This location has been recommended to us by a few friends.
Let me start with the food, I would say the ribs were tasty and the bearded poutine were good. My wife also enjoyed her pulled pork sandwich. The Brisket and chicken while tender, did not have much of a Smokey flavor to them. The sausage to me had little to no flavor. The mac and cheese was okay, but the beans were delicious in our opinion. We did not like the potato salad.
When we got the meal we were missing the pulled pork sandwich. We informed the food runner and got told it wasn’t on the ticket. The manager came over and we told him that we had also gotten the pulled pork sandwich with the beans and an extra side of the potato salad… But the tray came out with only the beans and potato salad. Turns out the employee in the front did not add the pulled pork sandwich. The manager corrected the situation, but we were charged for the pulled pork sandwich after the fact. I would’ve figured that since it was an employee mistake that we would not be charged.
The atmosphere is okay but very plain and the layout is a bit wonky when you first walk in.
We might return but only if we are in the area. Unfortunately I would say the Bonos BBQ by us has provided higher quality service/food.
Woodpeckers and Mojo Old Town BBQ in St. Augustine continues to be the best two BBQ joints in drivable distance we would say.

Great food, really loved it. We especially loved all their sauces. Soooo much flavor. The Habenero Ghost Pepper was so flavorful. Don’t let it fool you, it was spicy but not loge threatening. It was just beautiful flavor with a nice kick. Definitely stop by this spot if your in the area.

My wife and I both ordered the Pulled Pork Sandwich but I got the sweet potato fries and she got the Mac and cheese. Needless to say we were not disappointed. Both were super juicy and smokey. The fries were crispy and seasoned nice. The Mac and cheese was creamy and delicious. The service was quick and the atmosphere was nice and not too busy. Would come here again in the future and try something else.

I was extremely impressed with this place. Food was amazing. I had pulled pork sandwich and my wife had chicken. Pork sandwich was piled high with pork. Melt in your mouth and smoked to perfection. I wish now I would have ordered ribs or brisket. Looking forward to returning one day. Location at the beach is nice and easy to access. The open air bar from inside to out is a excellent touch. Bathrooms were clean and I’m always impressed to find that at restaurants. I will be back again. I only wish I had taken pictures of the food.

Just stopped by to see what’s up.. Ordered 2 Bbq Garden salads. One with Brisket and one with Turkey. Both were very good. Their salad dressings are great (ranch & blue cheese).
We also got smoked wings which were .. well.. smoked 🙂

Best barbecue I’ve had in a while. The spare ribs are soooo big, I was in rib heaven. Potato salad and the Mac and cheese was pretty good too. Great drinks, fast service, they do run out of their popular items so be on the look out for that!

The brisket and the collard greens were 100% legit. Really good. The burnt ends were average, sausage was good, BBQ sauce selection was interesting and very tasty. The restaurant building was all concrete and plastic….noisy and uncomfortable, although the open air bar was a cool feature.
