I don’t go out very often, but my friend wanted to come here for her birthday and I’m really glad we did. The staff was incredibly friendly and made sure to wish her a happy birthday, which was such a nice touch. It was a busy night, but the bartender with all the tattoos did her best to get everyone’s drinks out as quickly as possible, and they were great. My margarita was especially good. Karaoke made the night even more fun and the whole vibe was welcoming. When it gets busy, I always try to give bartenders grace because they are doing their best. I would definitely come back again.

What was advertised was a 90s alternative themed karoke night. When I got there I realized that all the customers were treating it like a full on night club. It was loud, everyone was dancing, you couldn’t barely hear the singers.
The DJ would even take a break between every song just to let people dance. You wanna dance? Go to a night club where people do that. I shouldn’t have to wait over an hour to sing one song.
It looked like such a cool bar in the pictures, maybe it was once.
No one was even doing 90s or alternative songs. Why advertise it as such if your not gonna commit? One girl did Alanis Morissette but that’s it.
The bar tender was kind to me, that’s the best I can say. So if you wanna do karoke, you’re better off going elsewhere. But if you wanna just get drunk and dance, this is the place for you.

I’m a regular here for a reason. Great and prices too, especially if you know the prices and service of some other bars in Greensboro. Staff is the best and always make sure we (the customers) and the bartenders are safe. Can bring outside food in too. I like music bingo, dirty Pictionary, sip n paints, karaoke, and trivia nights there (always something to do). Always a vibe. Bring in the good vibes to the goat and you’ll receive the good vibes right back.

Will not be back any time soon. Stopped in here for another drink on a rare date night out with the wife. Bouncer went out of their way to comment on something that was on my wife’s shirt, and even said something about it again in the way out to another bouncer. Mind you, the shirt is from Target, it wasn’t anything flashy or offensive. Not sure if they thought it was cute to keep in about it but it bothered her and we could have done without it.
Price of a draft beer was outrageous for &9 a piece. They weren’t even pints. They used a plastic throwaway cocktail cup, not more than 10 ounces, maybe 12 at best. If I had known what the pour would consist of, would have opted to leave. Then the gratuity was added automatically. Paid as much for two shorted beers here as we did for five drinks down the street. Wife’s beer, one which we’re very familiar with as far as how it should taste, had a strange foreign flavor in it, almost soapy. Overall, poor experience. Will be skipping it next time.

Ever since I’ve moved to gso, 3 years ago, the bearded goat has been my consistent favorite spot. I love the vibes, bartenders (especially the new manager Madison) and the variety of events they have to offer. I’ve made all of my friends at the goat! I’d be friendless without them no jk, I’d have friends but the bearded goat introduced me to soo many great ppl. I’m very thankful for that ❤️ love you mads

I came in, I went to the bar. I waited my turn to get to the bar. I asked the bartender if they had a menu they showed me a beer menu. I asked them, what can you make? She became belligerent with me immediately and I asked her, what’s going on are you okay, are you intoxicated? I did because she became belligerent once I asked her what can you make, that’s good? I thought as a patron I was gonna receive top-tier service. I thought as someone who came in to spend money to help you pay your bills I was gonna be told what’s the best item you can make. It’s really a simple request. The drink I said I wanted they couldn’t make so I don’t really know what I did wrong, but I was told I had to leave. I didn’t want that bartender because the last time I had visited town and came to this bar, she was belligerent as well after telling me all frozen drinks were non alcoholic

My experience here as a regular has been nothing but amazing! The bartenders are sweet and down to earth plus if you ever want to get out of the house or just on a work trip on a Wednesday? Music Bingo.

I went out on thanksgiving eve and the bartender was so rude to me because SHE misheard my order. She said she repeated it back to me, but she did not. I laughed it off but then she says “Will refund it this time, but next time I won’t” . She snatched my card from my hand, and was rolling her eyes as she refunded me. It’s clear she can’t handle a busy night. And what she looks like is white, brown hair, not that skinny. I can’t remember her feature since they weren’t memorable but do better on how you treat your customers .

I was thrown out by someone because I waited in line for water. I waited 30 minutes, was approached, told him I was getting water for my group and I and was grabbed by the collar and “escorted” out. How dare I try to be sober driving home on Halloween. I let several people in front of me to get their drinks while I sat there, waiting to get water. He did his job, I don’t blame him, but what kind of establishment is it when an employee hears “I’m just getting water for me and my wife” and picks you up to throw you outside? The Quarter down the street was much more understanding, got several glasses of water between drinks without literally being thrown out.
