Perfect breakfast burrito! We got egg, chorizo, potato and cheese — and were not disappointed. The homemade tortilla was great and we enjoyed our coffee.

If I could give this restaurant 10 stars, I would. The waitress sweet, kind and very helpful. The Bean Cafe is spotless, the chips are made fresh, the food is delicious and great quality. I should have asked if they sell the salsa. It was so good! I had the green, chicken enchiladas, and it was a perfect choice! It’s conveniently located near shops and is easy to park and walk around town.

What a wonderful gem of a restaurant this is. Stopped here for an early dinner and was pleasantly surprised with how friendly the server was. The menu has a variety of offerings. I had the bacon cheeseburger with a side salad. He had a salad with shrimp. Both were very delicious.
The restaurant is very clean and spacious. The restrooms are also very clean.
This is definitely worth a stop as we experienced first-hand why it has excellent reviews.
Thank you to the sweet girl who waited on us.

A very very nice restaurant. The food is authentic and extremely fresh. The Verde sauce maybe the best I’ve ever had. I wish I had gotten some to go. I’ll be back!

my partner and i rolled out of the tent the morning of, fresh-eyed and hungry. we bid farewell to our friend, who had a long drive to make that day back to a major Texas city. who knows, maybe they will land a job these these bumpy, desert roads. when all was said and done and the tent steaks had been packed into the truck bed, we set out on the dirt road. first, we drove down the road and it just seemed to look wrong, so we turned around. we made a right and ended up on an airstrip, which cemented our feelings that we’d taken the wrong turn. we definitely drove to this campsite, didn’t fly, no way. why would our truck be here if we flew? so, we turned around and went back down the original road, which was (of course) the correct road. after some time down this cut of land, we emerged to the paved roads of civilization, with our stomachs directing us to the nearby town of Presidio.
“the bean spot,” as my partner remembered, was the place to go. we wondered for miles if that was the correct name, until our phones could reconnect to their networks and talk to their digital friends about this hunch of ours. lo, for it was the bean cafe, not the bean spot. but, i’d say with certainty that this IS. THE. BEAN. SPOT.
they have low prices and great food. if you’re borderline hungry and on the border, this is your refuge. buy a pack of tortillas on your way out, you pay at the door!

We drove down from Terlingua & stopped here for dinner based on reviews & they did not disappoint! Place is beautiful! Service was excellent! Their homemade chips were the best we’ve ever had, salsa was so good & we loved how they had it in a squeeze bottle, and the ritas & food (combo fajitas & fajita beef burrito) were absolutely delish! Oh & their sopapillas were hands down my favorite of any I’ve ever had! Prices were great, too! So glad we stopped here- thank you for great food & service!

We have enjoyed eating here every time we come to Big Bend Ranch State Park. The restaurant has a welcoming staff and atmosphere. The menu selections are good and the food is always prepared well. We tell all our friends about this place when we hear of them traveling to the Presidio area.

The menu is a mix of American and Mexican and have had both on two visits. The Mexican food is classic and very good. On my last visit, I had the Fideo soup and the spinach salad with grilled salmon. The salmon was grilled perfectly with an excellent crispy finish. Service is good and the atmosphere is clean, spacious, bright. This will be my stop every time I visit Big Bend Ranch State Park.
