The food and service was great. The dill cream sauce on the Salmon was delicious. Ctab cakes were good. Fish fry Fridays are always good with Cod. Our waitress McKenna was very attentive and helpful. Definitely will have to try breakfast and lunch and the patio when it opens.

We sat outside on Tuesday morning. Only one other table of people who were finishing up. Waited 12 minutes for water. Got it with menus waited 15 minutes & finally went & asked if someone would come take out order. Food took another 17 minutes we split a skillet scramble & one order of bagel & lox. Never got any condiments, not even salt & pepper. No one ever came back & asked if we wanted anything. Got up to find our check & leave & no one had any idea we hadn’t paid or gotten our check even. Horrible service for adequate. Overpriced food. View is also ok but nothing spectacular.

We went there with anticipation of ordering prime rib and ribeye. We were told they were out of prime rib and ribeye at 615pm on a Saturday? They open up at 4pm.. We ended up ordering 2 perch plates that did not include soup or salad or the bread. After we put our order in we were then told that the Chef said he could ” find” a good piece of prime rib for one of our orders. The food was good but we have never heard of not serving warm bread at the table or having the option of soup or salad because we ordered perch…will NOT be coming back. Disappointed for sure

The Beacon Restaurant is a beautiful newly decorated nautical setting with wonderful food and drinks. The tender loin sandwich and strawberry fields salad are exceptional. Many other wonderful menu choices. The Manager Kathy Wilgren is awesome. She personally makes sure that everything is Ship Shape. A memorable experience in the charming town of Port Washington. Just recently reopened after a lengthy shutdown and complete rebuild. The staff and speed of service were below average but being so new, we allowed some grace. The full height, wrap around windows give you some unbelievable views.

Specialty cocktail was inferior, soup served lukewarm. (Was sent back to be reheated). Chicken entree would have been tastier if the basil was added fresh before being served instead of being baked on top.

Absolutely love this bar, the calamari is amazing the drinks are great, but the real shinning star here is Chuck. He is quite frankly the only reason why we continue to stay at the hotel and come into the bar. He has personality plus and he is hilarious. If you have not gotten the pleasure to meet this amazing human treat yourself and go to the beacon. I have said it a million times and i will say it again, CHUCK NEEDS HIS OWN HOUR SECTION On the website as well as google. the calamari is absolutely great as well, some of the best I’ve had.

Sticky table, understaffed, 10 ppl in restaurant took an hour to be served an undercooked raw egg, burmt avocado toast, and ham and cheese crossaint w/hashbrowns. Remade egg this time way overcooked and tasteless avocado toast! What a waste. STAY CLEAR!!

Was pretty disappointed I decided to try this place , I ordered eggs Benedict with crispy hashbrowns for a carry out with a order of pancakes . Well my hash browns weren’t even slightly crispy and were soggy and soft that’s why I have to crisp them up . Was good food after I had to recook the hash browns! I also ordered extra sauce and only got a tiny cup of it total.
