Everything here is amazing but my favorite is the Lobster Roll. I’ve tried every Lobster Roll I could find from Boston to Maine and this is my favorite. They pack in a ton of lobster. I also loved the Lobster bisque. My kids got the ice cream. The scoops were almost as big as their heads and they have a great selection of standard favorite flavors and some delicious unique flavors. Hours are seasonal so check them before you go.

Ate here at lunch and it was busy, so longer wait for food. I had Greek chicken salad wrap. It was good just needed more dressing. The beach is across the street along with restrooms. Tables to eat at outside with umbrellas. The ice cream is very good and large. I got the smallest scoop which is a kiddie and is one scoop.

The line is long and the parking is limited on site (plenty across the street)…. but, the size of the scoops makes it worth the hassle.
This was my grandmother’s favorite spot for a scoop, and my kids love it too.

Good ice-cream and service. Lots of choices. Lunch is served as well. Sandwiches , wraps and seafood rolls. Limited parking ️, lots of seating.
I had a small, three scoops, “Green Monster” in a dish with a sugar cone on top .. Mint ice-cream with fudge swirl. Sweet!
The interesting thing I saw was a falcon land on a branch of a tree and start screeching. I walked over to take a closer look and photo and it turned its head to look at me. I noticed a nest next to the falcon, but, I don’t know if it belongs to the bird.
Before I left ◀️, a staff member wiped down the table I sat at. Good to see . Gift cards available. Delivery through GrubHub. You can order online.
I’ve driven by on weekends and the place is usually packed. I still recommend this place.
Update:March 2022; Rum raisin is very good! I could taste the rum. Pricey, but, big portions.

Lemon sorbet hits the spot on a hot afternoon!
Update: August 2025; Campfire S’mores, which tasted good , kiddie size was humongous, and not the guy from the Road ️ Warrior movie !

We waited a loooooong time for our ice cream. Everybody got theirs together but for some reason only my husband’s came out and not mine. The girl who brought his out was super rude when I asked her if it was his because mine wasn’t there. She left and never came back. After 4-5 minutes I finally told somebody that I never got my ice cream. She asked what it was and I told her one scoop on a sugar cone. ONE SCOOP. This is what I got…a huge amount in a cup. Huge waste of ice cream and it made a big mess. I guess I’m glad they can afford to throw away ice cream but I hate wasted food. Unimpressed.

Fried scallop.basket and fried clam strips dinner. Fries were great. Scallops and Clam Strips were so fresh, prepared perfectly. We visited on Sunday August 20, 2023 @ around 3 in the afternoon. The place was buzzing with customers. Our order was brought out to us quickly. Food was nice and hot!! Can’t wait to come back here. This place knows seafood! Bring your appetite, the portions are large!

I’ll never understand businesses like these; great food, better ice cream, terrific location. But the staff is less than warm, even late in the tourist season. It makes me want to leave this location alone and stick with Lena’s and let the rest of you deal with them. Prices are tough but not insane.

Had the lobster roll and a cup of clam chowder. Gotta say… The chowder was the star. 18$ for the roll left me feeling.. um unsatisfied? Close to $30 for a 4oz roll and a cup of chowder. I get it, it’s right on the water.. but still, I’m a little disappointed. For a walk up and order kinda place I was expecting more. This was my first lobster roll ever, not even sure if I’ll give one another try elsewhere. All that said they were pretty busy and people seemed to be going for the ice cream on what was a pretty gloomy day. So it must be good!

Very diappointing experience. Drove 45 minutes only to be advised that our phantom gourmet gift card could not be used due to their machine being down. According to the manager this machine has been none functioning for about a month. We got a half hearted apology and no offer of compensation. At least put up sign to warn patrons of this! This was your Epping NH location.
