The Beach Hut is such a cozy spot with a great laid-back vibe. The food is fresh and flavorful, and the menu has a nice variety of options for both light bites and hearty meals. I really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere, perfect for grabbing a coffee or sitting down for a casual meal. The service is friendly and makes the experience even better. Coffee was really good and so is the breakfast sandwich. Aside from this the outside sitting had great view of the lake and the houses in the neighborhood. The staff were also so welcoming.

This place has some great food and snacks while you enjoy time at the little resort. Staff is always friendly – Peter is the nicest people I’ve ever met. If you are at Beachwalk for the summer, I highly suggest you check out the shop. He also sells other items you may need while out at the beach. Go check them out, you won’t regret it!

Top five burger of all time! Panini’s are great! Their coffee is excellent and the coffee drinks are awesome and always served with a smile! Anything you would need for the beach is available here. The ice cream is a must have after a day at the beach or pool. Yum! Staff is amazingly friendly and accommodating.

The location is great. It’s very easy to get to from just about anywhere on the lake in Michigan City Indiana. I particularly enjoyed the sandwiches, coffee, and baked goods.
My in-laws and I made the trip to Michican City, with the intent to enjoy lake beach, visit the Sand Dunes National Park, and explore the local culture and food. It’s a gem of a Cafe in a gem of a city. Easy to explore and enjoy, and great for young families. If you are in the Michigan City region, do yourself a favor and check out The Beach Hut.
