This is a really cool bar! I’ve never been to a venue quite like this; it’s very unique. Very good margarita- highly recommend. Wish they had more food options though. Pork belly sandwich and fish tacos were good but nothing extraordinary. Definitely go here for a drink and to soak up the atmosphere. A great place to let kids run around or to walk your dog.

What a great find on our way to Alamosa. Incredible outdoor architecture. Limited menu, but good. Only one person taking orders at the register backed things up a bit. The outdoor area is spectacular! Incredible use of rock. It’s right along the Arkansas River, which adds to the beauty and relaxing feel. Lots of different outdoor seating areas, including right next to the river.

What an outstanding venue. Surrounded by Cottonwood trees right on the bank of the Arkansas River. Bring your lawn chair or a blanket, have some adult beverage, and a few tacos while listening to live music outdoors in Colorful Colorado….it doesn’t get any more mountain vibe than this.

Such a relaxing and enjoyable place to stop, eat, and chill. We travel a lot and so this review does not come lightly. We ordered the Blackened Fish Tacos and the Pork Bahn-mi sandwich. Each dish was packed with flavor – both a must try. We love the staff. Very friendly and welcoming. Love this place!

At first glance it so much fun going on, but once you join in with the atmosphere, it is not just fun it’s every great feeling at once. Joy, happy, fun, exciting, beautiful, and for the food so good. We overstuffed ourselves with the swordfish, brat, and wings. The flavors and combination of meats with the spices. Great views and delicious food are the only things I can say about this place.

My daughter chose The Beach as her wedding venue…sight unseen! She trusted the remodel would be done and we all tried being “relaxed” about it. Even though there were some surprises along the way, we are happy with The Beach’s performance in all ways. The food, service & atmosphere was AMAZING. We are thankful for the owners and the staff for their hard work in making weddings happen in a dream mountain town like BV!

Riverside Grill was a cool experience. It was fun to sit by the Arkansas River and eat delicious food! They have some gluten free options that I (Being very Gluten sensitive) enjoyed. Apart from being semi-expensive it was worth the visit!

I’ll give this place 4 stars for the view and the helpful staff. This place is really better for rafters who have just finished and are looking for a quick bite, rather than a group looking for a night on the town. There is live music there on occasion though! The restaurant is located in the River Runner campus. There’s plenty of parking. The have decent sandwich-ish options for a somewhat reasonable price. I am not a fan of the chips and salsa (the salsa was a bit watery) or the queso (it was more like the nacho cheese from a can). The Banh mi was pretty good, as were the elk sausages. Both of these sandwiches came with chips. The kids liked the burgers, which were served with home fries and veggies. I wish they had that option for all the sandwiches! They did have some gluten free options, which was nice.
