The BBQ Shack Chicago

One of the best BBQ spots in Chicagoland! This establishment is clean and the service is professional. Was greeted when first walked in the door, always a plus for me! I ordered 2 combo meals, Half Chicken Half Ribs and the 2 Link Rib Tip combo. Sides were Mac and Cheese Yams Collard Greens and Spaghetti! Everything reminded me of that summer time BBQ back yard cookout food! Absolutely delicious! The Peach Cobbler was on point too! Deriah (I’m sure I’m saying spelling her name wrong forgive me haha!) was very polite professional and kind. I’m a fan of the food but even a more fan of how they run their business! What a great place! Oh I forget to mention they got parking too!

The best BBQ spot in town! I had a brisket sandwich from here today and it was phenomenal. Juicy, tender and oh so flavorful. The Mac and cheese and yams were delicious as well and paired perfectly with the brisket. The restaurant was very clean and the staff was so kind and friendly. I will definitely be back. Highly recommend!

The ribs were dried and someone coated them in sauce. I’m pretty sure the ribs are baked and not grilled. The greens are sweet I am not a fan of. The mac and cheese is not great either. It was drt as well. Everything tastes like a sunday dinner of a person who can’t cook. Need more research and development on the food.

Tried this place because of someone else. The food is so good! There is a smokiness to it and tenderness to the meat. Real simple ordering and paying. Excellent sides, (greens, macaroni and cheese, baked beans and yams and more. Didn’t try the desserts. Quite sure they are good too. Will be going back all the way from the Northside. That’s how good they are!

A friend told me about this place and I went over one yesterday to see what the rave was. The atmosphere was cean and friendly and the food looked wonderful as they prepared it for me. It smelled soooo good I started eating it in the car. When I got home I was tired so I left it on my kitchen table.When I woke up nothing but remnants left. My kid said mom thay food was amazing. I went back today and got the ribtips and hotlink combo and babeeee… the food is amazingly tantalizing. Pull up on this spot you can’t go wrong
