Ignore the few mediocre reviews, this place is awesome! Great food and great service. Everything was fresh, perfect flavors, serving size, etc. We came in pretty late and a nice game named Joey was working on some improvements. Got the smaller meal of halibut. WAY too much for me to eat (love leftovers). Real nice too.

Stopped in for dinner the other night. Been curious about this place for a while. We had the halibut fish & chips with shrimp. The fish was delicious! The breading was perfect – not too thick, and it was crunchy and not greasy. Loved the homemade sauces, too – tried the tartar sauce for the fish and the mango sauce for the shrimp. Yum! Joey was very friendly and attentive. The dining room and restroom were clean. Definitely going back.

Took the parents here. Tasty food, great crispy batter, tons of great sides! They were really welcoming to all of us, even our service dog. Top notch! Also, holy cow the sauce options! I went with lemon pepper and it compliments the fish so well, but even just the table malt vinegar is awesome

I had the 3 piece cod and fries. Comes with cold slaw. The cod was flaky, cold slaw was fresh and not vinegary , and fries were so good. All of it was delicious!! I found a treasure close to home, and better yet it is a local business. I support local business. I will definitely be going back

I checked this cafe with a British friend who has enjoyed a lot of fish & chips in her life – and is pretty specific about what she likes. She pointed out that technically the fish is breaded, not battered, and that the chips are French fries, not the larger wedges of traditional British chips. However, we both really liked the perfect texture, subtle fresh flavor and the moistness of the fish. The batter on the fries gave them a lovely crispiness.
The prices are generally reasonable. However, I would have liked to try 3 or 4 of their onion rings, but the only serving size cost either $6.99 or 7.99. Way too much to casually add to a meal. We understand that everything is expensive these days, but the owners might want to try a few changes to see if it increases the per customer average sales total.
The temperature in the cafe was noticeably and uncomfortably cold – likely somewhere around 60 degrees. This was not inviting so we didn’t hang around.
The staff are friendly and helpful and place is spotless. Unfortunately, we were the only customers there between 1:00 and 2:20 and I worry that the cafe is being overlooked. It is in a difficult location to access and the tinted west-facing windows makes it look like it is closed, as you drive by. Also, a week ago, even knowing the name, I couldn’t locate the cafe on Apple Maps. That seems to have been corrected now.
