Errrehhh ladies and gents! Inside Hay Camp you will discover Bashful Bison Deli and Market! They have delicious sandwiches that are available in Gluten Free! The staff is very kind and happy! They are connected to Hay Camp where they brew their own beers and have pinball machines and board/card games! The sandwiches are full and filling and worth every penny! The venue has plenty of seating and the environment is open and spacious. Pay then a visit to enjoy a warm, yummy sandwich!

Great spot to grab lunch for company meetings! The Rapid City is delicious and I love that ingredients are locally sourced. Plus you can pick up their homemade bread and other locally made products while you’re there.

Best sandwiches in Rapid, period! The Hermosa and the Spearfish are two of my favorites, but everything is good. Oddly enough they have the best carmel rolls I’ve ever had!! Definitely check them out if you’re in the area.

Insanely good sandwich (i got the Edgemont which is like a reuben). The staff was lovely! They sell some locally goods too and there’s a cool brewery attached that does fun events all the time it seems. This is the place I’d hang out if I lived in Rapid.

Walked in on a weekday for dinner. The Spearfish chicken sandwich and the Custer bison burger were superb. This place is right beside the brewery and the brewery had great seating. Overall great experience. I also picked up some local bison sticks which looked amazing and with no bad ingredients at all but I have yet to try these as I would like to try them on my next hike.

Bashful Bison Market is amazing! We both had a sausage breakfast sandwich and subbed the Bison Biscuit for the bread. We agreed that it was the best breakfast sandwich we had ever had. It had unbelievable flavor. It was moist and not greasy at all which is difficult to achieve with a biscuit sandwich. The service was excellent. All of the employees were helpful and you could tell they were invested in their food creations and restaurant.

We went back for lunch today. It was equally as amazing as breakfast. I had the Paha Sapa sandwich and Bill had the Rapid City.

Went back again! Just as good. Consistently excellent!!!

We came here after landing at the Rapid City airport as reviews were great for this lunch spot.

What we got:
*Bison – we were interested in trying bison brisket. Overall, the sandwich was flavorful, but the brisket was very dry. Not one I would get again.
*The Paha Sapa – this one sounded interesting with a variety of meat with a three pepper tapenade. I wasn’t sure if this was going to be a spicy sauce or not, but it only added a mild kick. I do wish there was more of the blackberry sauce on the sandwich to detect it a little more. Otherwise, this sandwich was full of flavor!

Service was very slow, to the point that a couple of tables were going to check in on their order. Not a bad option to start our SD trip, but not a memorable spot.

This is the best sandwich place in town. My husband and I are both big foodies and have been struggling to find good food around rapid city. I couldn’t be more relieved to find this place. The bread is fresh and delicious
