We recently visited Basha Mediterranean Cuisine in Overland Park and were truly impressed.
If you’re craving authentic Mediterranean flavors with a modern touch, this cozy spot is a must-try. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with beautiful Greek-inspired details that make you feel like you’ve stepped into a little Mediterranean getaway.
We started with a few refreshing drinks strawberry lemonade, lavender lemonade, a mango smoothie, and a strawberry smoothie. Not only were they beautifully presented, but they were also incredibly fresh and flavorful.
For appetizers, we ordered the hummus served with warm, fresh pita, along with falafel and kibbeh. Everything was made perfectly the hummus was smooth and creamy, the falafel crispy on the outside and tender inside, and the kibbeh packed with flavor. They also offer several great vegetarian options, which is always a plus.
For our entrées, we shared the mixed grill, which was perfect for sampling a little of everything: rice, gyro meat, kefta kabob, and juicy chicken skewers, all cooked beautifully and well-seasoned. We also tried the grilled tilapia, which was fresh, light, and seasoned just right.
Overall, the food was delicious, the portions were generous, and the atmosphere made the experience even better. We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend adding Basha Mediterranean Cuisine to your must-try list in the Kansas City area.

Lovely place with great atmosphere.
We were served by Siri and she was very attentive and accommodating, smiling the whole time we were there. She seems to love what she does and she’s great at it.
The food was phenomenal. We ordered the Grill Platter with chicken and beef, and the Loaded Fries. It was all hot, fresh, and full of flavor. The falafels were also very good.

We love Mediterranean food. We usually go to Olive Cafe in Grandview but thought we would try this. Absolutely LOVED IT! Husband & I slpit the platter for 2 & we were STUFFED! The humus & pita were so GOOD!

The interior looks a bit dated, but who cares? The food was excellent! I got the veggie plate which had dolmas, falafel, hummus and THE BEST baba ganoush I’ve ever tasted and I’ve traveled the middle east. Also lunch special was only $12!

LOVE!! I stopped here on a whim and I am ever so glad I did! The food was out SO quickly and was delicious. The hummus was smooth and paired so well with everything I had on the gyro lunch platter. The staff was very attentive, incredibly kind, and passionate about their food! For a good reason— it’s a restaurant with food to be so proud of!! The atmosphere is calming and I loved all the decor – especially the pops of blue 🙂 I’ve been recommending to everyone I know in OP and will definitely be stopping by again soon

The Basha Cuisine has a wide variety of food to choose from. I chose their appetizer sampler for delivery and it did not disappoint! Everything was fresh and delicious. The falafel was some of the best I’ve had. I definitely recommend this place and will be back!

Taste of their food was not perfect but it was okay until we saw human hair in the rice. We couldn’t continue eating because we were disgusted by the lack of hygiene. The hair obviously was not ours. We wanted to give feedback to the manager, he claimed the hair doesn’t belong to their team neither and did not even apologize for the situation. I would not suggest this restaurant especially for those who would prioritize hygiene.
