This place was great !!!! The pork rinds appetizer was delicious their jalepeno ranch it came with was good and the queso was too. The fried pickles were really good best I’ve had in a while battered very good. Hubby had the trail ride burger said it was very good and cooked to perfection. I had the grilled shrimp tacos and they were very good. Definitely recommend ❤️

I hadn’t eaten all day yesterday and wanted a steak. The Barrel House showed up in recommendations. I ordered the ribeye, which was cooked perfectly warm rare as I asked. Pork rinds with jalapeño ranch were a nice bonus for those who are keto focused. All the staff appeared to enjoy themselves while doing their jobs. That’s typically a sign of a good environment. My waiter, Jesús, was on top of everything. He asked relevant questions, made sure my few requests were met perfectly, and anticipated needs before I voiced them. Looking forward to a return trip soon.

Had a great experience at Barrel House tonight on my wife’s birthday. We had such a great time, and our server was the best . His name was Will, and he was very attentive and cared about doing his job. We had problems with our order, and he had it fixed right away. I really enjoyed the live music they had an artist playing on the balcony. I recommend this restaurant for anyone. You will will enjoy the food , atmosphere and service

The food here was delicious and very reasonably priced. We stopped here a little later at night and they were still very busy but the service was very quick. Our waitress was super friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. The house salad was perfect and the crispy chicken sandwich was fantastic. We will definitely go back the next time we’re in town.

This place is great! Stopped in for the first time on a Saturday night and got seated quickly. Got fried pickles as an appetizer and chicken fried steak for my meal. The fried pickles were some of the best I’ve had, and the CFS was also very good. Served was attentive and provided great service! Will definitely be back!

I really enjoyed eating here. We had a large group, which they seated out on the patio no problem. If I have any gripe at all, it’s that the stools for the bar height tables are hard metal with no back and they’re terribly uncomfortable if you’re going to be there awhile. Otherwise, the service was good and the food was GREAT! The pork rind appetizer with jalapeño ranch dip was so good, as was my hamburger steak. I didn’t hear any complaints from anyone in the whole group of 12, in fact. They have several beers on tap and a whole menu of cocktails. For my group of 3, it was an even hundred for an appetizer, 3 beers, 3 entrées, dessert and tip, which I think is very reasonable. Will definitely go back if I’m out this way again.

Absolutely amazing! Everything was wonderful. First time there and it didn’t disappoint. Service was great…server Will was fantastic, atmosphere was spot on, and food was exceptional. I ordered the Barrel House Burger and my friend had the Trail Ride Burger – minus the horseradish. Everything was great! I will definitely be going back.

The Barrel House is a fabulous restaurant in Winnsboro, Texas. The quality of the food is outstanding in a fun field atmosphere. The bar is great and the bartenders are very experienced. The food quality is incredibly consistent and hits every marker you’re looking for. It’s a casual restaurant with a fun, family feel. The servers treat you like they’ve known you forever. The pretzel and queso is outstanding. And their homemade pork rinds are to die for they offer flatbread pizzas , great burgers and on the weekends, they have prime rib, and you will find none better. They also offer trivia nights and live entertainment. I highly recommend.

The tacos (that the people I was with got) looked really good. It was a lunch special (Thursday), so I’m not sure if it’s always available. The menu is full of meats and birds to eat if that’s what you like. If you’re not a meat eater, pick somewhere else.
Food and service were both great. If they had live music, it would have been even better. Would eat here again (if other people wanted to).
