We went back a couple times and still are enjoying every bite. Highly recommend the Barrel House for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner! The Phiily Cheese Steak wrap is amazing and Sweet potato Fries taste fresh. The Chicken Strips (not pictured) are better than any I have tried before. Flattened Chicken breast covered in house batter and fried to perfection!! I cannot express myself enough how much I like this place. The burgers were delicious and sliders is a definite recommendation. The staff is incredible, super friendly and helpful.

We finally found a new spot for our rotation! It’s honestly rare for me to find a place that really stands out especially when it comes to breakfast, but The Barrel House Bar and Cafe totally nailed it. The atmosphere felt so cozy and comfortable, and Debbie took such good care of us. She was amazing. Everything we ate was amazing. The veggies tasted fresh, the potatoes were crispy, and those slabs of ham were delicious. I kept catching myself looking at the food going to other tables because everything looked incredible.
Still not disappointed!
A few minutes later, my server Darcy introduced herself and explained the layout — two sides to the place, but I could order anything from either side without moving tables. Love that! I ordered a beer which came out lightning fast. When I asked how long she’d worked there, she said “forever,” which made me laugh — and also meant she had solid menu recommendations. (Side note: they serve breakfast all day).
Darcy suggested a few favorites and I ended up going with the eggs Benedict and hash browns. The food came out in what felt like 7 minutes or less — super quick — and everything looked and tasted amazing. The hash browns were golden brown perfection and the portion sizes were generous. The hollandaise was a bit heavier than I personally like, but I just mixed it into my hash browns and it tasted great.
The cafe side was fairly busy during my visit, but having been in the restaurant industry for 20 years, I can read a room — and the vibe at every table was relaxed and happy. JC and Darcy were handling it all with ease, keeping drinks full and guests taken care of, all while smiling and staying genuinely friendly. They made it look effortless.
I’m not sure if this place is a local secret or well-known, but as someone visiting from Phoenix, finding a local gem like this when I travel is always a win. Highly recommend — I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in town!
Great eggs Benedict for breakfast and great burgers and turkey club for dinner.
They can get pretty packed, so service isn’t always fast, but they are always nice and friendly and so worth the food!
