Plenty of parking and very welcoming. The staff were great, very friendly. Loved the atmosphere and big windows. The food was good. They have an enormous salad wagon and my friend enjoyed it. I started with some chicken noodle soup, very good and like that it had homemade noodles or it sure seemed that they were. My friend had broccoli cheese soup which also had noodles in it, but it was delicious as well. I had the pork chop dinner and the pork chop was phenomenal, very good flavor. The green beans and mash taters and gravy were good, I would have liked the gravy to have more flavor. I love me some dutch apple pie and theirs was very good. It seemed fresh and had excellent flavor in the pie filling and the streusel on top. I would visit again for sure.

While on a quick roadtrip from PA, we gave this place a try. They offer sit down service upstairs or buffet downstairs. We opted for the sit down service. They have a huge salad bar wagon along with soups and breads. Our meals were good but not exceptional. Salad bar was honestly better than our food from the kitchen. I would definitely give it another try. Staff were friendly. Service was great. Ample parking. Prices reasonable. View of the pond was nice. Welcoming atmosphere. Overall, we had a good experience at The Barn.

Beautiful open restaurant, literally does look a barn on the inside. The decor was very rustic, farm, & beautiful. Like a Cracker Barrel but better. They have two options for seating. If you order off the menu you are seated upstairs, the buffet is located downstairs. We decided to order off the menu because we weren’t feeling particularly hungry. The chili was excellent, and I ordered a bacon cheese burger, their “barn fries” & pickle spears. Pork chop that melts in your mouth. Roast beef that was so juicy, like it was marinating all day. Extensive pie selection for dessert.

My waitress was nice. Food good. Got the chicken strips, corn & fries. You get to enjoy the bread bar a couple of choice breads & butter including corn bread which I love. The atmosphere is pleasant, a taste of country life and the view is beautiful. It’s not gormet, or gormet quality, but the price is fair compared with other restaurants these day. I always walk over to the Oak Cupboard for a goodie. Usually too full for an ice-cream cone, unfortunately.

Went on a Thursday at about 6pm. Had to wait about 15-20 minutes for a table. The service was amazing. The mattress was very nice and polite. Had to get the salad bar which was very good, had salad, pudding, soup, and breads. It was all very good. My kids loved it as finding a good buffet post Covid is few and far between so they loved all the options.

The Barn Restaurant & Buffet is one of those rare places that feels like home the second you walk through the doors. The warm, rustic charm of the barn setting makes for the perfect backdrop to enjoy a hearty, comforting meal. From the moment we were greeted, the staff made us feel welcome, attentive without being overbearing, and genuinely happy to have us there.
The buffet is simply outstanding—there’s something for everyone. Freshly prepared dishes line the tables, from perfectly cooked meats and creamy mashed potatoes to crisp vegetables and an amazing salad bar. Everything tastes homemade, like it came straight out of a family kitchen. The fried chicken deserves a special mention—it’s golden, crispy, and full of flavor. The dessert section is just as impressive, with pies, cakes, and cobblers that taste every bit as good as they look.
What sets The Barn apart is not just the quality of the food, but the feeling it creates. You can tell a lot of care goes into everything, from the cooking to the atmosphere. It’s a place where families gather, friends laugh, and memories are made. Truly a gem worth visiting again and again.

Absolutely delicious food, very, very, very welcoming environment, kid, friendly, and it is worth mentioning. I saw people of all ages playing with some of the old world toys they have here.
If you have not stopped by, I highly recommend you do so. There appears to be a buffet, which is one section, and then the other section has restaurant menu and has a salad buffet or salad wagon, it was actually really cool. High-quality ingredients from everything I can tell, I didn’t get sick after eating so they definitely passed the cleanliness factor for me.
The staff are extraordinarily friendly and everybody was very helpful. The waitress was very attentive, I should have tipped triple honestly. I honestly don’t know that I have had a better experience at a sit down restaurant.
For reference, we did not eat the buffet, we opted to do the restaurant side with the salad wagon.

Enticing location and the service was good, but the food was lacking. Ordered the roast beef dinner with mashed potatoes and gravy. It was just okay. Had green beans and corn as sides. The beans were okay, but the corn tasted like field corn. No sweetness and an odd flavor – – like it was old. Added a single serve salad, too. The lettuce was fresh and most of the add-ons were good with a nice variety (salad bar may be the best option here). The potato salad had an odd flavor, the red beets had a very strong clove flavor and no sweetness. Ranch dressing was good.
