Man. This is unfortunate to write, but I think we visited The Barn on York for the last time tonight. I’ve certainly witnessed some questionable choices in this bar/restaurant over the years. I can forgive inconsistent food, obnoxiously overserved patrons, obviously oblivious management and very little atmosphere. What I cannot forgive is being blatantly ignored. This evening, after slow food service, going to the bar for plates & silverware so that we were able to eat, watching our server pass by out table over and over and then having to wait 30 full minutes to get a check so that we could leave I can confidently say I am not eager to return. There are some real gems on this staff, but the overall cons have begun to outweigh the pros with far too much consistency.

Food was cold and the place looks like a wreck. Took my guys to eat there and all six of us barely made it to the restroom after we ate. We all had different food too. Hard pass if you can! The waitress was nice though…that’s why they get 2 stars.

My husband & I visited their bar for happy hour. They offered oysters as one of their appetizers…out of this world! The service is spot on, great atmosphere, appetizers and drinks 5 star!

I ordered the sampler platter it looked good at first but the potato skins were old and they made me sick I tried to get a drink to clear my throat and they said they couldn’t give me anything because I got sick terrible place to try to get food and drinks were watered down don’t go here if you do avoid my advice and go anyway you will find out why I Said this

We visited today. The food was good and the beers were cold. The place is dirty and in bad repair. Outside patio and landscaping were dirty and needed help. That tells me alot about the inside of a place. Just saying.

Not to be confused with Cameron’s Mitchell’s The Barn at Rocky Creek Fork. We had the nachos and chicken club wrap. The nachos were good and plentiful. The beef in the nachos could had been warmed up more. The chicken wrap was delicious and a generous portion. The fries that came with it were amazing quality almost like Five Guys fries but shoestring like McDonalds. I do have to deduct a star for the fountain beverages though as they were really off in taste like terribly bad.

I love this place me and my wife live in Florida buy we have family in the area and everytime we visit we always come here for cold beer and wings everything we have tried pizza or sandwiches was really good and great servers and awsome atmosphere!! Our favorite place to go in the Pataskala area

I’ve ordered food and stopped in a few times and the only good food there that I have had was the Rueben. Anything that I ordered that went into a fryer or cooked on the Flattop grill, such as a burger, were soaked in grease and I do mean soaked. The burger’s I ordered were so greasy that the bun disintegrated when I picked it up and the fries I ordered with completely inedible.

Very friendly atmosphere. My family and I all sit outside to enjoy our meals. I purchased the heart attack burger a sandwich that is well worth your money, it will fill you up quick. Everyone had a great time here, we will definitely return again!
