The barn is my go to staple in Claremont, NH. They have fresh everything and also they always make you feel welcomed. As a Chicagoan who’s a foodie I totally approve this restaurant. Highly recommend you to check this place out.

My husband and I love The Barn! We go here for a weekly lunch date. Everything is made with fresh, high quality ingredients and tastes delicious. The staff are friendly and helpful. It’s nice to have a gem of a restaurant in our town.

The Barn Cafe is just a fantastic place. The food is always top notch with the best ingrediants and the staff is the wonderful. They are always upbeat, interactive, and very pleasant overall. I don’t see any way that they could improve their business. Such a wonderful company to have in Claremont.

We found this place on Google while heading to Sunapee, New Hampshire.
We arrived around noon and it was busy.
A table cleared up about 10 minutes after we got there.

Ordering was quick and the woman who helped us was very polite and helpful.

They stop serving breakfast at 10:30 a.m.

We ordered a roast beef sandwich, to share, with onions, lettuce, tomato, provolone and horseradish on sourdough.
It was all super fresh and tasted really good.
Just under $15

They have some baked goods and I bought the blueberry/Peach scone and a white chocolate chip/ raspberry scone.
I have only eaten the raspberry scone and it was really good. Super moist and tasty.

This place seems to stay pretty busy especially in the morning / afternoon time.

There is not a lot of parking in front, but we did find a space on the street behind the building- where there is a state office entrance.

Really cute and cozy country deli with great salads, sandwiches, baked goods and more! Order at the counter and they bring it to you. Plenty of seating. Clean and comfortable atmosphere. Food was so good, we can’t wait to go back! We gobbled it up before we even thought of a photo. But, this is what was left of the flourless chocolate cake my friend got!

I ordered breakfast from The Barn Cafe today, and the breakfast sandwich was, without exaggeration, the best I’ve tasted in ages.
Every element was flawless—the bacon was perfectly crisp, the bagel had that ideal chewy texture, and it was all served piping hot with delicious, melted cheese.

You could truly taste the pride that went into crafting it.
Even the iced latte was exceptional, with a rich, full-bodied coffee flavor that wasn’t diluted by too much ice. I think my days of settling for quicker options are over. A definite 10/10 experience.

Great little place with on street parking, and right across from a parking garage. Had great take out and a few picnic tables outside.

Staff was friendly and helpful, delicious sandwiches that came out quick from the kitchen.

Has a homey vibe like your gram’s kitchen. Good amount of tables but not loud. Highly recommend for a bite and a brew.

Definitely one of if not my favorite place to go in town. The service is always stellar and they know my boyfriend and I by name at this point. They are always open about where their food is sourced and very proud of where it comes from, I think that’s rare these days. Their prices are slightly higher than other places but considering how they run their business it makes sense. I would rather give 25 dollars to a small business that is trying their best rather than to a fast food chain that already has billions. I’ve never had bad food here and don’t expect I will any time soon.

Delicious coffee and sandwiches! Would love it if they had different options for sides instead of chips, like maybe a variety of potato or pasta salads, but we’ve never had a bad meal here. And the staff is kind. We will return!:)
