The food was great. I had the roadhouse burger and it was delicious. The waffle fries were good. My husband had the CBR Mac and Cheese which was also good. Chicken looked a little dry but he said it was good. I ordered a spicy mango margarita which was not spicy at all, in fact it was super sweet. I do not think there was alcohol in it at all. I did not see tajin in the margarita and there was nothing on the rim. Wouldn’t likely order it a second time. The worst part about the place was our waitress, she was not that friendly and didn’t check on us. When she dropped off our food she dropped and ran there was no time to ask for anything needed (I wanted to order a drink and my husband wanted a beer) and it was not busy in there. We had to ask another waiter for drinks. I would go back despite her service, the food was great.

Good was good, restaraunt has a great vibe. Sand volleyball, darts, pool, etc… great place to hang. I got the Nashville hot chicken sandwich and it was tasty. Not “hot” at all, but tasty.
We got the pretzel appetizer and it was good. I would put the beer cheese slightly below average for Wisconsin. But above average for anywhere else in the country.
All in all, great restaraunt, conviently located near the movie theater.

Went on a Friday for Fish Fry. The waitress was very efficient and friendly. We ordered mozzarella sticks 1st and they came out quickly. They were different than others we’ve had as they were wrapped in a tortilla shell (at least thats what it looked like) and the cheese was not fully melted. A little bland even with the marinara. Our dinners came out shortly after the mozzarella, hot and delicious. I had the 2 pc Beer Battered Cod with Fries & my husband had the Shrimp Dinner with Tater Tots. Both meals were great and plenty to eat. The only thing we didnt like was the coleslaw. It was overly creamy and lacked some seasoning. There was a large group/party using half the area and it was very loud too. That’s why I gave the 2, 4 stars this time, but would definitely go again.

I will start off saying the building is a nice building and the food is average chain bar food and the prices are not bad but that’s where the positives end. Today was my last time going in to the bar. The service up at the bar is usually pretty good but if you sit at the tables the service is minimal at best. You end up waiting for a long time for a server even if your the only people in the place with nobody at the bar. I’m normally pretty forgiving but the service is consistently bad as far as servers ( food and drinks normally come pretty quick though) but as far as checking in on the table, refills, and getting the bill its stupid slow and minimal. I’ve been to the bar numerous times in the last four years so it wasn’t just a bad day. I normally have a 50% chance of getting the correct bill with the right items I ordered, and when you find a mistake, its like going to a zoo to get the receipts fixed. Today I went in with my fiance and a few other couples and I ordered an appitiser and some drinks. The bill wasn’t very big so I payed cash with about a 20% tip and cash. I gave it to the waitress and told her to keep the change, then left before the rest. I get a text from my buddy’s later telling me I didn’t pay and they had to cover my tab. I called the bar to tell them they made a mistake and the server swore I did not pay my bill and someone else covered it. I was able to get a refund to my friend but not the whole amount and the people I talked to on the phone were very short with me. I do appriciate the partal refund and the fact they listened to me but they made me look like a leaker to my friends. I get mistakes happen and maybe this was an honest mistake, but this will be the last time I dine at the bar. My best advice for anyone going there is expect minimal and slow service if you sit at the tables, doubble check your bill and make sure everything’s on it and there’s no extras, and vairfy your tab is closed before you leave.

I had dinner here last week. I ordered the lake perch and it was the best I have had and I am from the Midwest. Service was friendly and prompt. I would definitely recommend this establishment and plan to return for a visit when I am in the area again. Thank you for the yummy dinner. I also enjoyed the Green Bay Packers memorabilia.

Great food, excellent staff and a really nice place to eat and have a drink. The staff might be a bit over worked or the bar tenders are understaffed, putting in and order at the bar is a bit difficult at times. Most of the time even when it’s very busy there’s only one bar tender. I’d recommend a using a table if you’re in a hurry. I did see staff watching the bar tender during busy times. A few of my favorite dishes at The Bar are the Chicken Wings, Carnivore Pizza and Nachos but they have lots of other great food.

Great sports bar type atmosphere. As a Celiac traveler I was really excited to find a place that made eating gluten free feel normal. My family ordered GF cheese curds and GF boneless wings for apps, and I was able to have french fries and a GF bun on a great cheeseburger. Our server completely understood Celiac and knew exactly what menu options I would have. I felt safe and cared for our whole dinner experience.

Our group had watched the Super Bowl in 2025 at “The Bar” in Appleton and had a great experience. So this year we went to “The Bar” in Rothschild.

What a terrible burger I’mnot entirely sure what they’re trying to do, but there was so much sauce on the burger that it was completely inedible and fell apart in my hands really not good give this place a pass… no wonder it was completely empty
