The food was ok, the staff was very friendly but I had a problem with the cleanliness of the restaurant. It wasn’t dirty, but it wasn’t up to restaurant standards. I’ll try and explain. The silverware was laid out in such a way that anyone sneezing would spray it all. I did not see anyone wearing gloves, etc. I won’t be back.

Starting with the positive, good portion for the price. Okra was freshly made and had good flavor. Now the average, potato salad tastes like it’s from Sam’s club bucket, sweet tea was not sweet. The brisket was flavorless and chewy.

Ordered the Jalapeño Brisket Special with Slaw and Potato Salad. Also added Jalapeño Cheddar Sausage. Brisket had just the right amount of spice. Potato Salad and Slaw were also good. Service was good. The girls were friendly and attentive to everyone that came in. Will be back anytime I’m back in weatherford.

I’m kind of shocked by the bad reviews. Everything was hot and delicious .. husband went in all the staff was kind owner was down to earth. We got enough food to feed us for at least three days. Thank you we will be back for sure.

This is literally the worst bbq restaurant i have ever been to. Meat was cold and hard, bread was stale. The bbq sauce has a horrible smell and flavor that it ruins the meat. Man that owns/takes the order is the most unfriendly person I’ve encountered at any restaurant. Do not waste your money here or you will be sorry.

They’ve been in business 40 years. Now, if that doesn’t say something nothing will. Locally owned an operated, the owners are always here. You can bring your 18 wheeler an trailer to the lot. Country setting, with fine bar b que, mouth watering cobbler, an sandwich is a filling one had the slaw for your full experience I did. They’ve got good ice cream to goes swell with the cobbler.

This place should be shut down!! I ordered the brisket dinner and I have never had a more dry flavorless brisket! Mac n cheese is sad and flavorless. When I called to tell how disappointed I was I got “I don’t know what to tell you” and got hung up on. Don’t waste your money or time!! 40 years in business and this is how they treat customers?!?
