The onion rings didn’t last long but they were there.
I hope the farley stays around. This was a perfect dinner for the wife and I. I called it in around 130 for pick up at 320. I think I waited for 5 mins which I am ok with because I knew it was made fresh. The box was so full they had to use a door dash sticker to keep it shut. The food made the 15 min drive home. I can only imagine how good this would have been dinning in. Fries were perfect came with salt and pepper on them. The burger was delicious. We will be back again.
I would like to make a shout out to the person that wrote them the horrible review that inspired this burger without you this wouldn’t have been possible .

Great little spot. Good vibe and good food. The menu is small and unfussy. I don’t generally care for smash burgers as they tend to be overdone and dry but the smash burgers at The Bar are juicy and flavorful. I am officially hooked on the Onion Smash Burger. I have been there twice this week.

Amazing experience at The Bar!! We were so impressed with the service and food, though we are huge fans of all the FnF joints in town. Kimmy was our server and welcomed us the minute we walked in and took great care of us, the wait for food was very short and the atmosphere was so much fun. If you do have to wait, it is well worth it! The pizza is a classic tavern style and so delicious, especially the hip-stir pizza. We will absolutely be back and be telling our friends to do the same!

The Bar is a typical bar. Smallish, noisy, not a lot of parking. It’s very nice and pizza is very good. Come for the food but forget about a decent conversation. Not a fan of silverware in a cup.

Onion Smashburger…. I don’t even know what to say.. Amazing and I crave it for breakfast, lunch and dinner. My daughter and I do burgers every saturday and we try and mix it up, but end up here for take out at least once a month…. The new standard. The burger is cooked perfectly, and the flavor is so intense I’m salivating even typing about it. Huge, flavorful and so many fries we have left overs.
Atmosphere was a bit strange in the beginning, but it’s coming around. The first time we popped in, I felt like I walked in on a private party uninvited. But if that was your experience a few months ago, go back because it’s better now.
The Bar Super clean and the the staff is beyond super friendly. Plus they’ve never messed up my order! Always right, always delicious, always awesome. THANK YOU!

The burger was so greasy the bun was soggy. The pork tenderloin had seasoning thumbs up for that but the overall flavor was too porky yes I just said that. It was all dark meat which I am not used to seeing in other pork tenderloin I have eaten. The crinkle fries were good and the soft drink was well mixed. The waitress was very pleasant and attentive.

This is my go-to place when I’m in the Quad Cities for a burger! The onion Smashburger is the best burger in Cedar Rapids. Perfectly cooked double Smashburger with grilled onions on top, comes with french fries that are just as delicious. This time we ordered the onion rings as an appetizer. The onion rings for crispy and hot. Their Pizza is also delicious

Tried on a recommendation. Menu is limited, but I really wanted to try the onion smash burger. I inhaled that thing. Delicious, just the right amount of greasy, melts in your mouth with the perfect carmalized and crunchy exterior. And the toppings were well balanced. It definitely filled a need I didn’t even know I had. I’ll be back.

The place is phenomenal with extraordinarily great food, atmosphere, and service. The most notable item on the menu is most certainly the burger along with some crispy but also soft crinkle fries on the side. It is very difficult to come across burgers like these with such great quality and consistency, however, one key missing factor here that makes a place great is honey mustard. Without honey mustard you can’t truly enjoy your meal because you’re missing a key piece of flavor. While they had some delectable Korean bbq sauce, without honey mustard, you just can’t possibly enjoy the full experience without that missing sweet taste.
