Was here last Saturday to play a few games of pool to wait out people coming over for a house showing. Bartender shortchanged me $3 even after tipping her the same cost as a beer when I first came in. After asking her why I got $11 dollars back for $3 dollars in quarters and a $3 beer she pretended to not know what I was talking about, handed me a dollar, and said it must have fallen out of my pocket. She tipped herself $2 for stealing my money.

Nice neighborhood bar. The owner and staff are nice and friendly. They make great drinks with excellent prices. The last time we went they weren’t open but the owner heard us talking outside and opened for us. It’s nice to just hang out in a quiet local bar. They have a few food items, pool table and dart board.

Very clean bar with very sweet staff. Love the owners. Would definitely drive back to Ohio just to have a beer. They have Dart boards, pool table, bowling game and lots of fun. I think if your in Montpellier Ohio stop in to The Bar it’s a good time.
