We were seated by Helima, who was extremely warm and welcoming, and looked after throughout our meal by Asiya. Asiya was patient, kind, and very polite, and she gave great recommendations which we really appreciated. Both of them made us feel genuinely looked after, especially as it was our first visit.
The atmosphere and decor are beautiful, the restaurant has a real quality feel to it. Some of the food was exceptional, particularly the bread and the cocktails, which really stood out. The mains were nicely presented and enjoyable, though I do feel they’re slightly overpriced for what they are. That said, you’re definitely paying for the ambience and the excellent service as much as the food itself.
Because of the amazing service and the overall experience, I would absolutely return, just probably not as often as I’d like due to the higher price point.
Overall, a great first visit and a big thank you to Helima and Asiya for making it special.
I do prefer the Tottenham Banc as it has a more intimate atmosphere. However I would go back as it’s very close to where I live and I love that there is parking.
The resturant also had a great bar with a huge selection of cocktails, mixers and Mocktails.
Dont miss this one!
There’s something that really got my attention, It was about the staff which work as a team and they help each other in a way they were well trained; they seem happy and committed working there, they are so efficient, quick, nice and right there to serve you. You feel at a friendly restaurant atmodphere and It all, really, makes you feel good and enjoy the moment. I thought I would have a regular eating out evening but I had a wonderful time filled with pleasure, joy and yummy food.
Thank you for yesterday evening guys!!!
My date ordered a Mai Tai, which was delicious. We asked for extra syrup ’cause it was strong—but in a good way, lol. And the oat vanilla matcha? Super creamy and really hit the spot.
Staff were very friendly too. The atmosphere was calm and the decor was beautiful. The music was abit of me, soulful house.
I’ll be back to try the dinner menu soon PS it opens at 11am.
Now, the food… truly out of this world! The warm bread with truffle and honey butter was an unforgettable combination, easily one of the best starts to a meal I’ve had. We also ordered the mini wagyu sliders and dynamite prawns — both were 10/10. Hands down, the best versions of those dishes I’ve ever eaten.
Our mains were equally impressive, generous portions, perfectly seasoned, and beautifully presented. The mac & cheese is a must!!
If I had to pick one area for improvement, it would be the desserts. We tried the salted caramel tart and the crème brûlée. The tart lacked flavour and the ice cream tasted a bit low quality, while the crème brûlée was slightly burnt on top, making it a touch bitter.
That said, the overall experience was fantastic, and I can’t wait to return. Thank you Maisie for making our evening so special!
Despite the restaurant not being very busy, service was noticeably slow — it took over 25 minutes for our order to be taken. Staff engagement was minimal, and at eight months pregnant, I had to get up and approach the front desk to request service, which was disappointing.
There also seemed to be some uncertainty among staff about the menu. When I asked whether my dish came with vegetables, I was told it did, but it arrived without them. Rather than acknowledging the mix-up and offering to rectify it as a goodwill gesture, I was asked if I wanted to order vegetables as an extra.
The food itself was good — the boneless wings were particularly enjoyable — but the dinner menu lacked variety. I was surprised not to see lamb chops, which are a staple at the original Banc, or even a simple chocolate dessert option.
Overall, I’d rate my experience 2.5 to 3 stars out of 5. I might consider returning to try the brunch menu, which looks more appealing, but I wouldn’t be in a rush.
