Went to The Bake Shoppe on a rainy Friday morning. Probably was a good time to go because there was no line. I’ve seen on Facebook the lines on the weekends so we chose to go on a Friday. Good choice. Everything looked very good behind the glass so we chose one of each item which included the chocolate chip rice crispy treat ,hot hammy, two OG jumbo buns, sugar bun, the classic and chocolate chip scone. First for the jumbo bun, it is huge! It could easily feed 2 to 3 people and probably was the best cinnamon bun I’ve ever had! Chocolate chip scone was very good and most scones that I’ve had become dry. This was very moist ,excellent. Next the sugar bun. Was really good and very flavorful. The classic was next and it was OK. I happened to eat the hot hammy which is a croissant with ham and cheese inside at the shoppe. It was pretty good but would I get it again probably not. I forgot to mention. I also had their chocolate chip cookie again was very moist. Would I get it again? Probably, I love cookies. As far as the facility, there are a few tables as well as two large couches for you to sit and eat. Coffee is also available.
Now for the total cost ,remember we purchased one of every item most people won’t do that . Final price $72.50 . Overall review is it’s NOT all about the hype. The bake goods are very good and worth visiting. Service is excellent.

I’ve been to The Bake Shoppe several times, and it has quickly become my favorite bakery in South Jersey. The staff is super friendly and welcoming, and the food has been consistently fresh and delicious! The OG Jumbo Bun and all their croissant creations are truly exceptional! The Bake Shoppe is absolutely worth a drive—and even the weekend wait in line. I’m officially a regular!

Everything at The Bakeshoppe is always so delicious and incredibly fresh. From the hot Hammy’s to the brown butter chocolate chip cookies, pop tarts, Rice Krispies treats, and scones—honestly, I think we’ve tasted just about everything and it never disappoints. You can truly taste the quality and care in every bite. Amanda and her employees are always so welcoming and kind, which makes the experience even better. My boys are always excited to stop by—they’re quick to hop out of the car and jump right in line. There’s always a line out the door, and it’s 100% worth the wait every time!

This was a great bakery!! It was refreshing to see a real local balery where they were baking in front of you and making things fresh daily. I ordered a savory bagel with cheese and a brownie. It came to $19 which was a bit pricey but it was larger portions and made fresh. I ate there and the bagel was good but I just wished they offered to warm it up. It wasn’t hot and I think if it was it would of made a big difference. The brownie was very large and also good! I also do wish they offered espresso drinks or a variety of beverages. They currently offer drip coffee. They have a small seating area which was nice seeing how many people came in to the bake shoppe. You can already see the loyal customer base as many people who came in seemed very friendly with the staff. The people at the counter were very welcoming which made the experience really nice. Overall I had a great experience!

The Bakeshoppe is absolutely amazing. Everything about this place feels warm and homey, and the treats are seriously delicious. Amanda and her entire team are fantastic — you can tell how much care and creativity they put into everything they do.

I’ve been getting Bakeshoppe before they opened in Hammonton, and it’s been so cool to watch them grow. My boyfriend literally asks me every time we pass by when we’re getting it again — that’s how good it is.

Amanda’s marketing ideas are always fun and creative, and I’m especially looking forward to TBS After Dark. If you haven’t been yet, you’re missing out!

Absolutely the best bakery in the area. Amanda and her team are truly the best. It’s a need when visiting hammonton. She’s super great with posting updates and times/hours on her socials ( Facebook/instagram). Each pastry is uniquely its own and as fresh as they come! 10/10 recommending to all!

Amanda has created the most inviting space to enjoy absolutely delicious treats! My husband and I have been going every weekend since opening day.
Our favorite menu items are the chocolate chip cookies, hot Hammies and PIB (pigs in blankets)- but let me stress, EVERYTHING is top tier! I’ve never had a pop tart like that in my life. Just wow.
IMO, it’s totally worth the wait. Bakeshoppe is POPULAR, but for great reason. We love to hang out, play cards, and chat with people in there for the morning! If you are looking to grab and go (with little or no wait), Thursdays and Fridays are usually less busy. For the current menu and specifics, check out their social media pages.
Perhaps the most important part is these are amazing humans. Amanda, Alex and the rest of the crew are so genuinely excited to be a part of the Hammonton community. We are so very lucky to live down the street!

Went to The Bakeshoppe for the first time today and I will be back. I found out that they serve a select menu at the end of the month and was lucky to get a fresh batch of these strawberry frosted cinnamon buns. It was massive! Also got to try the brown butter chocolate chip cookie and it was the perfect combination of crunchy and sweet.

We got there to a line out the door when they opened and it was worth the wait! (Not a long wait) We sampled a lot of their items and loved every single one. Great atmosphere inside. Glad to finally have a REAL bakery in downtown Hammonton we can walk to!
