First impressions, such a cute spot with indoor/outdoor seating and I loved all the holiday decor. My friend and I were stopping in during a roadtrip and we love supporting local spots. We were looking around having never been there and they were pushy from the start about if we were ready (no one else there or in line at the time). We saw online about the breakfast sandwiches and we we’re looking up at the board and she said to ignore the board and look at the printed menu. When we asked if there were any breakfast sandwiches left, she replied with an attitude “well yea we do but it’s 1038am so we are on lunch”. We were just asking a question no need to snap at us. Then after ordering lunch sandwiches, we also ordered coffees. My friend asked for hers half-sweet. The lady said I don’t know what that means and looked at her exasperated like we were trying to waste her time. My friend explained it means whatever your normal syrup pump amount to do half that, so less sweet. The lady was like well we do 3 pumps so what do you want… My friend then asked for 1 pump. Then when I ordered mine. I said, “I saw you have the real caramel sauce may I have an iced latte with the caramel please”. Asked about whip, I said no, we paid ect. Another lady began making our coffees and after the difficulty in ordering I decided to just go straight to the barista and confirm. I said “excuse me, for the caramel latte would you please use the real caramel sauce”. She was like ok but next time you need to say it at the register because there is a price difference and then turned her back to keep making the coffee.. I didn’t say anything, no point in arguing I just sat down and said thank you when she brought the coffees. Food came out quickly and the coffees and food were good. It’s a shame because we liked what we ordered and we were going to order more bakery items to go, but decided not to continue supporting the store. Another brunette lady that came out to help for the lunch rush seemed very nice to the other customers/locals. Hoping it was just a bad day for the blonde hair ladies we encountered, but unfortunately it ruined our experience. Will not be returning.
