The Bakery House makes the best cake. As a wedding planner who has worked in hospitality for my entire career- I’ve tried a lot of cakes, and without a doubt- The Bakery House makes the best cake. It is moist and fudgey with perfectly sweet but not too sweet icing.
The bakers and decorators are collaborative and friendly, super easy to work with and accommodating. They have a ton of cake inspiration on their website but will also always rise to the challenge of creating your dream cake.
The shop in Bryn Mawr is stocked with treats- pies, cookies, rugelach and more. It’s hard to resist temptation in this magical little bakery.

I recently contacted The Bakery House to inquire about a cake for my daughter-in-law’s baby shower and was impressed from the start by the personal and professional interaction I experienced. I was transferred to Lucy who spent more time with me than I ever would have expected to walk me through the size of cake needed, flavors, pricing and all the various personalization options for the golf themed cake I was looking for. She was such a pleasure to speak to and work with. She followed up with an email summarizing all we had discussed. I placed the order with no hesitation and no worry about how it would look. As expected, it was exactly what we discussed. The mama to be and our guests loved not only the way it looked but also how it tasted! A pleasurable experience from start to finish!

I provided a general idea of what kind of custom cake we wanted for our 11 year-old’s party and the results were excellent. Not only was the cake beautifully crafted but it was also delicious. The bakery itself looked like something out of a movie honestly. Everything seemed too good to eat! I am looking forward to returning so we can sample some of the fantastic looking pies and pastries I saw when picking up the cake.

Always my #1 choice for special occasion cakes. I’ve never been disappointed. The photos are my most recent for my daughter’s 40th birthday. It was a project for my granddaughter and myself. We scoured the internet for ideas and made this special request. Pictures don’t do it justice. It was stunning and absolutely delicious! They even honored my granddaughter’s request to put “designed by…” on the back of the bow.

We have been using bakery house for all of our cakes for years. We have never had a bad experience. Their cakes are not only gorgeous the taste is out of this world. My kids have an allergy to artificial dye and they worked with me to decorate the cake without using dye still making it beautiful. The cake we ordered from The Bakery House for my daughter’s 12th birthday was awesome. The custom design was beautiful, festive and matched the image from the invitation! The inside was rich and flavorful, and everyone at the party commented on how delicious it was. We have loved Bakery House for years but even more so now that they offer the ability to order online.

Amazing experience with the bakery house always! I’ve shopped there for so many occasions (birthdays, work parties, just because) and recently a baby shower!!
