This place is a New Paltz institution, the baked goods never disappoint. The service can be quite slow at times (particularly around the lunch rush) so plan accordingly. They make the best marble cookies in the Hudson Valley, so make sure you get one!

I came back to the Bakery after leaving a 3 star review a few months ago. Much different environment this time around. The staff were as nice as ever. Really nice employees! The food is still delicious & there are some new offerings on the menu. The empinadas are really good. The condition of the restaurant was noticeably cleaner… like a lot cleaner which was my gripe on my 3 star review. The new ownership is really giving the place a fresh new feel. Definitely check out the new Bakery!

This is one of my favorite places, ever. It’s tucked away like a hidden gem for locals with outdoor seating and a loft over the bakery area with indoor seating and a play area for kids. It’s one of the only places I can go to eat out with my child and actually relax!!!!! There’s a wide variety of foods, not just baked goods but breakfast and lunch sandwiches as well as hot and cold coffees, teas, espresso drinks, and brand drinks for the picky ones (like bottled juice, seltzer, etc.) I appreciate they celebrate and bake for all different holidays. When I’ve ordered cakes the bakers have done amazing work. I FREAKING LOVE THIS PLACE

Nice little spot to stop for a coffee and danish. Update 9-6-21 Stopped for coffee and a sandwich, had the roast beef panini. While the taste was good, unfortunately the bread was not cooked long enough and was soggy. A panini should crunch somewhat when you bite it.
