First off I would to state that I never give reviews, especially a bad one. I have contemplated this all week, but feel I did my best to deal with the owner with the issue I had and she was not very receptive and obviously never completely read my complaint. I ordered a 8inch baby shower cake, lemon with blueberry filling with lemon frosting. I dealt with Liz the cake decorator for the design. ( she was very good) I went to pick the cake up last Saturday morning, the day of the shower~ the cake looked pretty but appeared to be quite heavy for a 8 inch cake. Saturday ( the day I picked the cake up, baby shower day) I started to serve the cake and noticed it was so wet, color was completely off ~ it looked more like a banana bread cake. My guest I served it to were very good friends and said it was terrible, I questioned it because of the look also. It was grainy, cake tasted no more like lemon than nothing, the blueberry inside was completely a mess. NO ONE ate the cake and it was thrown away. I messaged the store at 9 the same night as the shower and received an automated response that said someone would return my message when the store reopened on Monday. Liz the cake decorator did first thing and said she was sorry and that she was forwarding it to the owner (baker) Leah Cameron~ her response was that she would give no money back because she found out two days after the shower…well of course she found out 2 days later when her store opened on Monday! I sent photos and also of the cake the next morning being thrown in the garbage can. I had thought she may ask to see the cake that’s why Saturday I didn’t throw it completely in the trash. She wasn’t interested in that or really resolving the issue. She stated that sometimes different recipes and flavors can vary. I have baked many gluten free items. The cake was a learning lesson for myself, never order from someplace that I hadn’t tried the cakes before. Save your money! By the way the cake 8 inch cake cost me $177.00! I try to never have to do a review like this and I love supporting small businesses, but I would never enter the doors of this bakery again. I wish her luck, as I stated to her, because this business will fail. If not from the terrible recipes she is using or most importantly the terrible customer service that she provides.

I’m giving this a two star. This review is mainly based on the food. I’m just gonna start with how the experience was great. What I mean by that is the lady who served us was really nice. She gave us our time and give us more details on the items. We got our food and assumed it would be good because it smelled really good, but we were wrong. We got home and the food looked pretty good and it was very presentable. We good a little snack. Just some cupcakes and coffee. I bit into the cupcake and it was grainy and the frosting
felt like petroleum gel (vasoline). The flavor was also off too but I’m gonna give them the benefit of the doubt because the food was vegan and gf. But the coffee was horrible. We got a black iced coffee and it tasted pretty bad. And no it wasn’t just the bitterness of black coffee. Now I love the idea of this cafe. It’s allergy friendly and vegan friendly. But the food doesn’t taste very good yet. But keep going because I love the concept. Have a nice day.

The Bakery is hands-down my favorite place. I don’t think I’ve ever had something here that I didn’t absolutely love. Everything, from the coffee to the baked goods, is consistently delicious.
What truly sets this place apart, though, is the people behind it. Leah and the team are just fantastic humans, and you can genuinely feel their passion and heart in everything they create.
As someone with food allergies, finding a place where I feel safe AND excited to eat is rare and The Bakery gives me that every single time. Everything is gluten free and allergen-friendly, and the relief I feel ordering here is unmatched. I never feel limited; instead, I get to enjoy all my favorite things again: cake pops, blueberry muffins, whoopie pies, bagels, and my absolute go-to treats, the cookie dough balls. Having a safe, DELICIOUS cookie dough option feels like such a gift! Their pancakes are a staple in my house — just pop them in the toaster and breakfast is done. And don’t even get me started on their seasonings… the ranch seasoning is incredible and I’m so glad I get to enjoy that again.

If you have food sensitivities (and even if you don’t) you need to visit The Bakery. Everything here is gluten-free, vegan, soy free (yay!) and nut free but tastes AMAZING. The kitchen is open-concept and everything is baked fresh on site. They use only natural dyes for decorated items and offer custom order cakes and cookies. My favorites are the muffins (especially lemon poppyseed), whoopie pies and chocolate chip cookies

I accidentally found this wonderful place and will dare say I will be back whenever I am in the area. As someone with special dietary needs and a person with food contamination OCD I cannot express how awesome it is to know you can actually eat something when you pop in, no wondering!
I tried the pumpkin “cream cheese” muffin and definitely recommend! The coffee was REALLY good, so glad the staff told me they offered it legitimately some quality bean juice. I would recommend them to anyone but especially if you or your loved one has an allergy or special dietary need.

Forgot to take a picture until we already cut into it, but the cake was absolutely delicious and beautiful. My boyfriend ordered a marble cake for my birthday but unfortunately circumstances were tricky and it was short notice. The Bakery did an amazing job and I couldn’t be happier! They even added coconut flakes to it as requested! First time I’ve had a freshly made bakery cake since I found out about my gluten and dairy allergy. Thank you so much!!!

I have no words to describe how good a job Liz Skorski did decorating a custom vegan cake for my girlfriend’s birthday. The design came out flawlessly as planned and everyone agreed it was delicious. She was so patient and receptive to all my design and logistical questions and she made magic with the execution of the end product.

I’m not gluten free, but both my Mom and girlfriend are. My girlfriend is gluten AND dairy free. Allergen products have come a long way, but I recently got some cinnamon rolls for my Mom’s birthday, by her request. Even I loved them! Customer service was amazing, I cannot recommend a Bakery more. I will definitely be back for other birthdays and holidays.

I love the whoopie pies, better than the regular ones. Also cinnamon crunch donuts, cinnamon rolls and coffeecake cream cheese muffins are to die for! The new everything bagels are also really good! Definitely a good place for everyone, not just for people with allergies
