In our restaurant and bakery in Hendersonville, NC, you can find a variety of sandwiches, burgers, salads, pastries, cakes, breads, and other sweets. So we are tired of the same ol same ol and just discovered this place recently. We are local and dont eat out much due to the high costs. But this was a special treat. If you are nostalgic or not, this place will lift your spirits! Old legos of days gone by and newer characters bring it to life. Not to mention the overhead train that runs all around the restaurant. And thats just the atmosphere! The food was fantastic! Again, we dont eat out a lot, but this place puts a special flare on things. All items were fresh and made to order. We had the “Turkey Pen Pinini” which was the best I ever had, the club and a salad. All were amazing! And the service comes with friendly welcoming faces who are happy to serve you. Im not easily impressed but they did a great job! If every day is half this good, this is where you want to eat. And dont miss the bakery! Treats that are amazing!!

In the area and had to stop in and see all the hype for this cool restaurant. If you love Star Wars you are going to love this place. Tons and tons of Lego set displays here along with other fun memorabilia. The stormtrooper and motion activated Darth Vader was so neat! They continually play Star Wars movies here the entire time they’re open. The bakery items were good and they offered a few gluten free options. Wasn’t impressed with the bathroom set up, they really need a better design for the stalls, other than that a fun experience!

We had a lovely lunch at the Baker’s Box. We ordered the chicken gyro with fries and the DuPont sandwiche with pasta salad. Both were delicious, and the flavor of the meat on the DuPont was extra impressive! The atmosphere is also very fun. We also got a slice of the peanut butter pie to go and it was as delicious as it looked!

Delightful! The lamb burger was better than I even imagined. So juicy and flavorful! The server was extremely kind and patient with my elderly mother and came to check on us a couple of times.
For dessert we shared a delectable chocolate mocha muffin and left filled to the brim.
I will definitely go back next time I’m in the area.

Bring your own water glass. I was eating in with a party of 5 adults and after buying 5 dinners at full price they charged me $.40 for a water cup to drink tap water. If you can’t absorb 40 cents as a business then you have got your priorities mixed up. It only takes 1 poor experience to prevent people from coming back to your establishment or talking poorly about it. I would recommend this restaurant, which I’ve frequent 3-4 a year, less now now because of my experience of having to pay extra for a cup for water.

My husband and I were in Hendersonville for a weekend getaway and we decided to stop here for lunch. He had the Sandburg, which was a chicken salad sandwich and it was good. He had chips with it. I had the Vader, which was a grilled chicken sandwich with blackberry compote and caramelized onions. The taste was really good and I enjoyed the sandwich I would have enjoyed it a little more if my chicken was not tough. But I did enjoy the taste of the blackberry compote and the caramelized onions together and I had the french fries which for hand cut, and they were very good.

Love eating food from The Baker’s Box!! The wraps are delicious as are the burgers!!! Great pasta side salad! And sweet treats to die for!! Love the cheesecake and my husband loved their lemon tart ❤️

Neat atmosphere, the little odds and ends are nice to look at while waiting in line. This may be entirely a personal thing, and the only thing we ordered was the lattes and the tiramisu. And I’m not even sure if the latte had real espresso? I may be wrong but I was kind of disappointed. It wasn’t very good. The tiramisu also didn’t reminese of coffee that much. Still a fun little experience. And I’m sure the other food is a lot better.

We had ordered a Prime Rib dinner for a group of 5 people for Christmas. There was a slight problem after we had picked up the order on Christmas Eve. I had reported this to them Christmas day. I was surprised to hear from them early the next day. They went above and beyond to rectify the situation and were so apologetic. This was service I’d wish I could see more often at other establishments. All I can say is thank you for everything. We have always enjoyed dining here before, now I have a whole new level of respect.
