Reviews
From the moment I stepped in, I was wrapped in warmth and buttery aromas . The staff? Top-tier! Friendly, attentive, and genuinely joyful like sunshine in aprons ☀️ . They didn’t just serve pastries, they served kindness with every smile .
The croissants flake like golden confetti, the brownies are pure bliss , and the coffee? Hug-in-a-cup ☕. But what truly impressed me was the attention to detail even the restrooms were spotless and stylish ✨. Clean, fresh, and thoughtfully maintained proof that they care about every corner of your experience .
Cozy decor, heavenly treats, and service that feels like a warm hug . This isn’t just a bakery it’s a neighborhood treasure
If you’re craving comfort, kindness, and a pastry that makes your heart sing The Baker Next Door is calling your name
Pastries were much better. The sweet morning bun was excellent (4.5/5), the pain au chocolat was nice but a bit messy to eat, and the country levain looked fresh.
I’d recommend this place for pastries, but not for latte drinks.
And I completely fell in love with this place.
The bread, pastries, and food are all excellent. I especially loved the Frosnappers (I hope I’m spelling that right!) — the Danish twists. But honestly, every pastry I’ve tried has been fantastic. You can ask them to heat it up, which makes it even better. And if you take some to go, they’re still delicious the next day (and even the day after that), especially with a quick couple of minutes in the air fryer.
The house salad is a great size and always very fresh. The sandwiches are wonderful too. You can grab some to go — their pre-made salami sandwich is perfect for a road trip and comes in the cutest wrapping.
The coffee is high quality and served in both cups and mugs if you’re staying. The Mexican mocha is a great choice when you can’t decide between coffee and hot chocolate. They also sell high quality chocolate bars.
I also love the open kitchen — watching the dough being rolled and folded what feels like a hundred million times! You can really see that everything is made with care and love.
Parking can be a bit challenging, but if you’re willing to spend a little extra, there’s a parking garage under the building. Plus, there’s a cool thrift store right around the corner, which makes the visit even more fun.
My breakfast sandwich was absolutely decadent. It came with a perfectly fried soft egg, cheddar cheese, and ham, and I requested a touch of mayonnaise. I had it all on their house-baked sourdough, which is exceptional—flavorful, fresh, and with the ideal texture. Every component was thoughtful and delicious, making it one of the best breakfast sandwiches I’ve had in a long time.
A fantastic experience all around. Highly recommend for anyone who loves quality coffee, great food, and a warm neighborhood bakery vibe. ❤️
