We were looking for a coffee shop on our way home from a weekend in Mentone and found this little gem. Everything about this place was perfection. I had the Butter Walnut Sweet Cream Latte and my husband had the Snickerdoodle Latte. Both from the Seasonal drink menu, and they were absolutely delish. The coffee has low acidity and my choice wasn’t too sweet – making this one of the best coffees I’ve had in a while. We also had pastries that were super too. Overall 10/10 experience.

Service is great. There’s always a delicious selection of fresh pastries as well as a great seasonal lunch menu. Highly recommend the responsibly sourced teas and coffee. Ideal quiet spot to grab a bite while exploring downtown. Pics of the menu may be available online, but since it is seasonally changing, visit their social media platforms for the most recent version.

I found this unique small restaurant by accident looking for another place, and I’m very happy I did cause it is my favorite restaurant in Fort Payne, AL. Why, you might ask? It’s not every day you pull up to a store front with large planters outside the shop windows full of flowers with outside patio seating. I liked the American flag flying outside, too. It reminded me of a cafe in Europe. As I walked in the front door, I immediately noticed modern bright white walls, old molding, and exposed orginal brick block wall bottom half. The jaged drywall with old school bricks was a nice touch to old life to new beginnings for this shop. I also liked the unique lighting with orange light shades that made it pop with the white and tan colors.
I loved this place not just for the decor but the food. I had the lemon bundt cake before my meal and liked the sweet but tart taste. The cake was moist, but just the right taste bite by bite.
The main course was a breakfast bowl with black beans, potatoes, fresh spinach, sliced avocado, spices, and two eggs over easy. The eggs over easy warm goodness ran down through the different layers was yummy. The spices were perfect with a little bit of heat. Loved it!
I also saw they sell great coffee and teas. The beans are from a town in Idaho, and I love to visit.
I did talk with the owner, who told me the inspiration for the shop and menu is from different places visited around the world. I knew there was a European vibe from my travels. I haven’t made it to Spain yet but one day.
The best part of the food is that everything is fresh, not processed, and is very high quality and healthy. The prices were very reasonable, and there were lots of gluten-free options for people like me with an allergy.
I didn’t get the owners name, but tell her I sent you.
This is a must stop if you are here for June Jam , just passing through or live here.
It’s not every day you find clean, healthy, and gluten-free high-quality meals
Don’t take my word for it. Go see for yourself!

Absolutely a wonderful road trip stop! Cresta really shares Southern Hospitality! Delicious breakfast sandwiches and warm poppy seed muffins. Yummy coffee! Definitely worth checking out when you are in the area! Thanks Cresta for a great memory on our way to FL!

Paid 7 dollars for a matcha that was mostly milk. Food was ok, they just need to add another scoop of matcha. I get charging extra for expensive brands but this is just stingy. This was my first time in and unfortunately am not impressed. Matcha is not supposed to be this light in color. This drink cost almost as much as a meal! At least the customer service was very nice.

Amazing little spot in Fort Payne. The whole vibe of the place is super cozy including the bathroom. The homemade pastries all looked really good. I wish I could have tried them all. Would definitely recommend stopping in here if you are nearby.

Strawberry spinach salad with poppyseed dressing is my favorite this week. The flavors are impeccable. I was hesitant because of the feta cheese but I am now a new fan.
The owner and staff are always very welcoming and friendly.

Stopped here for breakfast while passing through, and honestly, I wish we hadn’t. Paid $14 for a “breakfast bowl” that had three paper-thin slices of avocado, maybe a teaspoon of black beans, some raw bagged spinach, and a dollop of sriracha-mayo. That’s it. The portion and quality do not remotely justify the price.
On top of that, they asked for a tip before we were even served, which felt completely inappropriate. I get that options might be limited in this area, but I wouldn’t recommend wasting your time or money here. Glad we were just passing through.

My husband and I were on our way to Desoto State Park to do some hiking and decided we would checkout a coffee shop. I am so glad we did! The ladies as were really nice! The shop is super cute and the coffee was delicious! I had the toasted marshmallow and my husband had the brown sugar. You will not be disappointed!

I had a lovely conversation with the girl at the front. We talked about how her father couldn’t eat gluten. And neither can I. Im so happy to have a place to get a gf meal in this town.
