My wife and I loved the place. Service was excellent and the food delicious. She had smoked trout on an everything bagel and I had some kind of sausage egg and bacon combo that was also excellent. We’d left Idaho Springs that morning and stopped off not really thinking bagels since it was 11am, but glad we did. We’re making a special trip there from Thornton tomorrow just ’cause we liked it so much.

10/10. Got two everything bagels, double toasted with cream cheese. And my dad got a breakfast bagel. It’s was sooo good. Salty but amazing. Almost turned around to get another one. Also the vibe of the place is awesome. Decorated with lots of Grateful Dead stuff. Loved it.

This spot is the best. Derek and the crew are so welcoming that anytime I have someone in from out of town we have to take an adventure to the mountains to come here. The 14er is the king of all bagel sandwiches.

The bagel sandwich was tasty but $28 for two is way overpriced. The sandwich was $9 on the menu and we were told it was $1.50 to swap cheese for cream cheese but it was actually $4. Just too expensive and won’t be back because of that.

All good things come to an end and unfortunately the bagelry is no different. The overgrowth of businesses has depleted the employee pool. Every business is competing for the same employees. The Evergreen Bagelry has seriously suffered from this and now staffs the lowest of low.
