Place looked clean and fresh, which is the only reason this isn’t a 1-star review. I ordered a buffalo panini, but the woman microwaved it and then put it back in the microwave again when I asked why she didn’t use a press. She said it was “cold.”
The chicken was the wrong color completely; it should’ve been white not the same tone as the panini bread. Instead, it looked off, and the taste was so bad I couldn’t even eat it. Not going back.

I stopped by after an interview and was extremely impressed by the cleanliness options and display of fresh food. Greeted by a very attentive and kind helper that guided me through the salad making process. Chopped it at no extra charge and was delicious. The only issue is I live out of state and can’t come frequently enough. But this will be my go to Bagel place when in the area.

Picked up a too good to go order and I had this amazing everything bagel/pull apart bread which is the best thing I’ve ever tasted in bagel form. It is just a good looking bagel pull apart with a perfect stretch chewiness texture and crisp on top (seasoning). The sandwiches were also spectacular with bread being just the right amount of crisp that I like. I don’t know the exact name but this is all I want to eat now! Will be back to find it.

REALLY disappointed with this place. Came home to NY for a quick visit and wanted a new york bagel since they don’t have them where we live now…this wasn’t it. We ordered everything and egg everything bagels with cream cheese, the seasonings were minimal…not what you’d normally find on a ny bagel, and there was NO SALT….ALSO not what you would normally find on an everything bagel. I would have been able to possibly overlook it had they put enough cream cheese on it, not only was there barely any cream cheese on it, but the strawberry cream cheese was HORRIBLE. the only flavor it had was a very bitter one, I almost question whether or not it had gone sour. I couldn’t eat it, so I wrapper it back up, will scrape it off when we get home and use the strawberry cream cheese from walmart. I honestly would have thrown it away, but we spent too much money. 25 dollars for 2 bagels with cream cheese, 6 loose bagels and a hot chocolate. It was just a hot disappointment and I REALLY wanted to love it.

We live in Nassau County on the south shore and have been trying to find the perfect bagel ever since Stuff and Bagels in Oceanside closed. Our search is finally complete. The Bagel Shop is the best bagel we’ve ever had! It’s crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Perfect density and texture and delicious flavor. The service is fast and convenient. The space is a bit dirty and not very pleasant to eat in, especially during rush hours when it gets very crowded. The bagels taste good—nothing extraordinary or particularly impressive, but they’re decent. They offer bagels with egg whites, which I find convenient. They’re fairly large and reasonably priced. The coffee is just instant coffee, and they have a small bar where you can choose from a few milk options. There aren’t many add-ons available for the coffee.

Staff were swift and friendly taking my order. I recently tried the Lox with Red Onion. It was a delightful. The velvety smoked salmon paired perfectly with the crisp, fresh red onions and juicy tomatoes. The bagel itself was nicely toasted, adding a satisfying crunch to each bite.
