First of all first impressions are everything and if you gonna make bagels, please don’t burn my bagel and try to cover it up with the sauce, but I got the pizza bagel which the sauce was amazing. Even a jalapeño bun was good but you burnt my bagel how do you burn bagels? That’s what you specialize in. .. this is very unacceptable. If you specialize in bagels and then you go and burn mine quality control is not there for me and I’m only riding this because you should do better if you specialize in one thing.

I recently visited this spot for the first time, and I have to say, the customer service was impressive right from the start. I was warmly greeted upon entering, and the atmosphere was casual and inviting, with plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors. There’s also plenty of parking available, making it a convenient place to grab a quick breakfast, catch up with friends, or pick up something to go.
I opted for the lox bagel, with a few tweaks: I swapped out the capers for avocado, added some lemon pepper, and chose the gluten-free everything bagel instead. While I’m not sure if it’s strictly Celiac-safe due to potential cross-contamination from regular bagels made in the same facility, it’s great that they offer gluten-free options like the everything and plain gluten-free bagels. It’s always a good idea to ask if you have dietary concerns.
One thing I really appreciated was how well the gluten-free bagel held up. It didn’t get mushy or fall apart easily, which can be a common issue with gluten-free options. The bagel was generously topped with smoked salmon, tomatoes, onions, and avocado (though keep in mind avocado is an extra charge). The portion was filling, and the flavors were well-balanced.
At almost $20 for the lox bagel, I’d say this place leans toward the pricier side, but given that they make their bagels in-house and everything is fresh, it’s understandable. I also noticed they offer their own cream cheese, which adds a nice touch.
Although I don’t live near the area, I do work nearby, so it’s a great option for a quick and satisfying breakfast pick-me-up. While it might not be an everyday stop due to the price, I’d definitely return to try other items on the menu. All in all, it was a solid experience and I look forward to coming back again.

Right next to Albertsons Nice little place looks like a family run business. They have some amazing varieties of bagels and great service. Clean restroom. Price is a reasonable for coffee, bagels, and breakfast bagel sandwiches.

Fresh bagels baked daily. Good bagels, especially love the hot breakfast bagel sandwich options! One favorite is the Lowers: eggs, cheddar cheese with optional bacon. Generous portion of bacon! Lots of other options available. Good selection of bagels and cream cheese. Try the cheddar & Jalapeño! Great spot for a quick bite or bagels to go!

Best bagel we have had in OC. Luckily they just moved even closer to our place 🙂 it’s still a (few) step(s) down overall from what we were used to in NYC but I feel they have continued to improve over the last year so kudos to them! We are grateful to be able to get some high quality bagels for sure. My go to is the everything bagel, bacon egg and cheese with tomato.

Very disappointed with this location. I was in the area and usually go to the one off El toro road and always have a great experience there. This location was a mess. 1st off, most of the staff seemed miserable and/or over the fact that they have to work. They worked very slow and seemed out of it.
Also, the bagels we’re not made well. See my picture for the cinnamon crunch bagel. I opened this after I left and to my surprise is was doughy and not cooked, even after it was “toasted.”
Management, you need to either train your staff on quality (food preparation AND service) OR work on hiring people who have pride in what they do.
