Located in the Princeton Shopping Center just off of North Harrison Street, the Bagel Nook became known for their wild bagel sandwiches.

The bagels are good here! Usually order a few breakfast sandwiches for the family, and multiple times our order was missing items that were listed on the receipt. Seems this is more common than just us based on other reviews. Also, when calling in an order they either don’t pick up or disconnects/hang-up as soon as they do. Strange since when you’re there in person even during peak, there are staff just standing around idle. Whole experience would be much better if these were addressed, and hoping it will as we do like the bagels here!

I have always enjoyed The Bagel Nook since it’s opening. I will always give a great two thumbs up to their bagels. They have a great bagel and many great options to go on the bagel. Recently the breakfast sandwiches have been far less desirable as they once were and twice now the bagels were overdone giving the bagel a much harder chew. What I have been most disappointed in is the customer service they now provide. It’s more like the Seinfeld episode on soup. Next! I went today and the gentleman who waited on me which I think is a manger or someone in the know basically took my order asked me if I wanted a receipt and started taking the next order. Never once in the transaction was there a how’s your day going or maybe even a hello or thanks for coming. Nothing. I was just a transaction. I wish I had gotten the name of the young man that gave me my bagel because he at least smiled and said have a nice day. Customer Service has definitely declined from when it first opened. I will still say the bagels are awesome but I do have options to go to another bagel place where I know I will be thanked for my patronage.

excellent bagels with an impressive variety. They offer more than 15 types of bagels and around 10 kinds of cream cheeses, its a perfect spot for breakfast.

Bagel Nook was listed as a Top 25 place for a Breakfast Sandwich in New Jersey. The store itself is impressive, Clean with a solid presentation of their menu items. Looks like they have some bagels that are outside of the box and would appeal to a variety of people. The Breakfast Sandwich was on a roasted everything Bagel. The size of the sandwich was smaller than other places. Overall it was a good Sandwich, I would go back, but would probably try a specialty Bagel next visit.

I don’t write reviews for food places but this is ridiculous. I’ve worked in food before so I understand the issue of it getting busy. But this is the third time my boyfriend and I have gotten Bagel Nook and my bagel order has been wrong and they had to remake it. That is understandable. It is the staff that makes it an issue. It was like the girl at the register was not even listening when she typed it in, but I corrected her and she put in my right order. The food still came out wrong. And when we approached the counter to ask them to fix it, they were very hostile and started talking about us behind the counter and one of the guys in the back came up and aggressively threw the messed up bagel into the trash. As if we were the problem.
We love this place it has really good food, but this staff has been an issue for us more than once.

Bagels + schmears are mediocre at best.

The “fun” flavors fail to live up to their names. One of my friends ordered a Jalapeno Cheddar Hot Cheetos bagel and was confused when it didn’t taste like cheetos. I felt the same about the Cookie Monster Overload. You’d think a bagel stuffed with cookies would be cloying but it tasted…bland? I was left questioning how the sum could be less than its parts. The cream cheese was oddly salty too in a way that didn’t work with the rest of the bagel.

The “normal” flavors are ok but can’t compete with almost every other spot I’ve tried in NJ / NYC (15+).

I ordered a breakfast this morning and I asked for BLT on a spinach wrap. There’s a they don’t have spinach wrap. So I asked, what kind of wraps you have? They said wheat, and white, so I said give wheat , so when I got to my car to eat, it is was on a toast wheat bread, i guess I don’t understand English too well. The food was good. The service was great. The atmosphere was wonderful, loved the place. They just got to understand English better.

I still think about these bagels over a year later. Didn’t even have it fresh at the time as I was working, but it still tasted amazing the next day. I also didn’t pick the bagel and usually, I am selective about what kind, but the order I was given was delicious!!!! I am hoping for more locations around NJ closer to me so I can get them more often! I also love the fun looking bagels as well!

Used to love this place but the quality has severely declined in the last 6 months to a year. They used to make solid breakfast sandwiches. Today I went in for a bacon, egg and cheese, and asked for extra crispy bacon. The man at the register even went back to the kitchen to let them know not to be shy about crisping it. I received a sandwich with the attached photos. It was so gross I had to throw it out. Given the note on the receipt and the fact that the kitchen had also been reminded, you have to wonder if they just don’t care, or if it was intentional. there weren’t even many customers in the store where they can claim they were busy. It’s too bad. I loved their sandwiches and kept giving them a try despite previous subpar experiences, but I think this is it. When you’re paying $16 for a sandwich including tip, it’s not unreasonable to expect that you’ll receive something you like.

Boring Bagels Begone! Ok, I admit it, the cheerful, colorful and creative bagels drew us in but we stayed and ordered because the person at the register was sweet and patient with our rapid-fire questions about the multitude of bagel and spread flavors. We settled on a pumpkin-shaped bagel that was almost too cute to eat and “flat” everything bagels with plain cream cheese. The flat everything bagel was quite large and toasted to perfection with a generous dollop of cream cheese. We wanted to be adventurous and order something creative like their pumpkin French toast bagel with birthday cake cream cheese or a tie dye bagel with fruity pebbles cream cheese. Next time! I’m feeling inspired to do a harvest brunch with pumpkin shaped bagels.
