I am so lucky I live within walking distance of THE BEST Bagel spot in Westchester County. No joke – no exaggeration. The bagels are giant softballs with crispy/well done exteriors and a soft & chewy interior. I always decline the offer to toast the bagel because they are always so fresh and perfect every single time they don’t even need to be “revived” with heat like every other bagel place you’ve ever been. The cream cheese spreads are full of flavor. While most places don’t even carry Whitefish Salad, Bagel Loft proudly serves some of the best I’ve ever had – fresh, salty & smokey. The muffins are outrageous and perfectly done. Breakfast sandwiches – even something as simple as a bacon, egg and cheese is completely elevated, satisfying and delicious. The servers and staff are extremely friendly, prompt and accurate – almost all of whom have been employed here for forever, which speaks to ownership likely doing right by their employees and that they do pretty well, here (as they should). Not a single bad thing to say about this place. When friends or family come in from out of town I get excited to bring them to MY bagel spot. 100000/10.

Best bagel around- I’ve tried several bagel places, and these are the best. If you want fluffy on the inside and crispy on the outside then come here. We got turkey bacon egg and cheeses and they were perfect. Picture shown is me on my second half and couldn’t resist to take a bite. Highly recommend!

There’s always a line at Bagel Loft—and it’s worth the wait. Just steps from Crestwood Station, this southern Westchester favorite serves oversized bagels with unbeatable flavor and aroma. The staff are quick, friendly, and generous with the cream cheese.

Best part? A bagel and coffee combo costs $10 or less. Hop off the Metro-North, turn left, and you’re there.

Located just steps away from the Crestwood train station, The Bagel Loft is a quintessential neighborhood deli that feels like a local institution. The space is warm and inviting with a charmingly old-school vibe—exposed brick walls, retro signage, and a mix of counter seating and booths that encourage lingering.

What really stands out here is the staff’s attentiveness. Knowing I was racing the clock to catch a train, the team checked in multiple times to make sure my sandwich would be ready in time.

The menu is broad—classic water-boiled bagels, hearty breakfast sandwiches, Boar’s Head deli selections, paninis, and even a salad bar and homemade soups. There’s also a wide variety of drinks and Shkreli coffee on tap, which seems to be a popular local brand.

I ordered a sausage, egg, and cheese sandwich on a roll. It was satisfying and exactly what you’d expect, though not anything gourmet. Prices, however, do lean on the higher side for a small-town bagel shop.

(Also tried a breakfast on a Sunday morning, overall the food is good)

I just had a decaf coffee and ordered a simple ham and Muensters cheese wrap , 1st they took forever to make it and no cheese you can barely see a litttle slice and ham very salty and told them toast and was saggy and moist the tortilla. First time in a place with a horrible experience.

Had a great experience here. Walked in at noon on a Friday. It wasn’t too busy. Everyone was polite and attentive. Sat down and enjoyed a delicious bacon egg and cheese on a bagel with their delicious coffee. Bagels are made in house and are made to perfection. Will definitely be back when I’m in the area.

Great spot to eat in or take out. Super friendly staff. Really great bagels and spreads but also other items like salads and soups and sweet treats.

I was coming here for the bagels for breakfast, but I had to stop because the amount of flies filying around and food just sitting out there, you can’t tell me the flies aren’t landing on the food ain’t no way. Ain’t going back here that’s way too unsanitary. By the way the rating for the food was well before I saw all these damn flies flying around landing on everything.

The good:
– food
– pricing
– location
– staff

Could be improved:
– order/pick up process

To order, one needs to get in line on the right. They take your order and start working on in. Then, once ready, they put it on the counter on the left. Now you need to get into another line, to pay and pick up. They don’t ask for names, they don’t call, so you have to magically guess that this was your order. Or ask a person behind the register — but in those cases you need to get through the line of folks waiting to pay. This is really confusing so you end up having a crowd of folks waiting to pick up not being sure who’s next.

This isn’t a big problem during slow times but if you come here during a popular time, it’s chaos.

Boy has this place gone downhill. 30-40 minute wait for cold food. Must be a change in management/ownership because its not how it used to be.
