Thank goodness that someone on a chairlift told us about the Brisket Poutine ar this delightful eatery. Sharable and a large portion of delightful, tasty, crunchy waffle fries with amazing toppings. They even had quality beers on tap and live music, but not too loud. Easy to ski to, or you you can take the little dipper chair. I could eat here every day, but we didn’t discover it until our last day there.

This place looks great but found it to be very disappointing. First, the prices are completely out of line for the quality of the food. We ordered a Beef Brisket and Chicken sandwich along with fulled loaded Waffle Fries.
Over $90.00 with a 15% gratuity added! This is an order at the register and pickup your own order, no table service.
Both sandwich meats were over cooked and the the beef was half fat. The chicken required a large amount of bbq sauce. The fries had the same dried out meat along with your standard canned nacho type sauce.
Don’t go here even if the prices don’t scare you away. We regretted it and should have turned away when they mentioned the 15% gratuity.

$57 for a brisket burger and fries and 2 other sides, coleslaw was gross and the chip things they served. the fries are like Arby’s fries but hard and cold, maybe left out for a day then served.. The brisket burger was mainly just fat pieces and inedible. just disgusting and disappointing.
Friends ordered macaroni and cheese also a brisket burger and both were disgusting as well.. for the price you would expect better food!

Food was very expensive which is fine for the location, but it also was very low quality. Meat for both chicken sandwich and brisket sandwich were extremely dry, fries were overly salty, and the coleslaw was bland.
Beautiful spot to sit and the staff was nice

It was the worst meal I’ve eaten on the slopes. As it was in Ritz carlton hotel, I have hoped that the quality would be better. The leek and corn soup was full of butter which was disgusting and the chicken sandwich was tasteless, very dry( just a bun and some pieces of dry chicken) no sauce no vegetables, awful. And over expensive 70 usd for a soup, sandwich and soda.

Limited selection of dishes and drinks. Everything is expensive in Northstar but the service is exceptional in general.

The food is terrible and insanely overpriced even for a Ritz. And it would be okay if the food were good, but quite simply: it’s not. We had the tacos and a salad and felt it was one of the worst lunches we’d had in ages. Don’t eat here.

I made the mistake of ordering the pizza. It look over 45 minutes for it to arrive. If you want to quickly get back to skiing, I would not recommend this place.
UPDATE: they paid for my entire meal to make up for the delay.

How do I like my meat? I’ll take it by the pound please.
Backyard BBQ is the perfect protein boost after a day on the mountains. A pound of BBQ chicken may sound intimidating, but when it’s cooked this well and served after a day of shredding, well.. it goes down quick 🙂
If you can get there at around 3pm then you’ll be done at the perfect time to jump to the nearby firepit and enjoy the daily offering from the Ritz’s “Marshmologists”.
