Food is still excellent. Split the burger, which was massive (and massively priced at $24) as well as tasty. Brussels sprouts with anduje were delicious. Citrus salad was refreshing and very light. Drinks were well done, particularly the Smoke Show (mezcal, habanero, lime). Nice to have Cat’s Meow on draft as well. Service at the bar was very friendly.

We started off a little rocky in regard to timing (we had to wait for another table to get up to have our booking) but once we sat down we have a beautiful dinner.
Our service was on point and the food was absolute perfection. We started off with meat and cheese platters, olives and chips. Everything was so good. We then moved on to some lovely bottles of wine and our mains. Friends loved the spaghetti (5 were ordered at the table) and the chicken was delish. Only recommendation is to swap salsa verde with chimichurri.
This is a perfect spot for date night, friends night out, anything. The Backroom is beautifully renovated and elevated. Perfect dinner!

This place is certainly unique and worth visiting, but I’m taking a star off because the taste of food was very lacking.
The vibe is nice, and the layout is appealing.
We got the duck confit salad and the steak frites, and we wrapped up our meal with chocolate mouse cake. All were acceptable but not amazing. The steak was too spongy, may be because it’s made of wagyu beef, and the fries were too salty. The waitress was nice, but not efficient.
I would join a company to this restaurant, but I wouldn’t make any special trip to it.

Hip. Happening. OPEN after renovations…. We went the other night and couldn’t be happier. We enjoyed the Wagyu meatballs, grilled octopus,carmelised scallops, carbonara fettucine with asparagus, and corn risoto, not to mention the exquisite desserts… The food was tasty, unique and well prepared. You just can’t find these food combinations anyplace else. Our server was excellent too and knew the menu well so as to help us with some tough decisions. I really wanted a taste of it all but he helped us make great choices and we were very pleased for a wonderful night out. It was pretty busy (but not too loud to detract from conversation), and the energy was positive.We will be back!

Perfect place to stop in for a quick bite to eat with friends. The quality of the meat is out of this world. This place perfectly captures the spirit of the steampunk city with its old world aesthetic and attention to detail.

Wow. The food is really a level above. Two of us for dinner. We ordered Dal Makhni (North Indian vegetarian) medium spicy and Mangalorean Chicken Curry (South Indian). Some Raita and tamarind chutney on the side. The flavors in the chicken curry were subtly integrated with a kick of hot. The lentils in the Dal Makhni were smooth but not mushy.
Very attentive service from Tejas.
The interior is thoughtfully decorated but a little vacant feeling as they build clientele. Two bars and one not used. The exterior is also pretty uninviting.
Do not let that dissuade you. Go in and be bold.

They have a wide variety of exotic processed meats. We tried a large variety coming as a party, and they were all pretty enjoyable, though the price point is a bit high for the sampling.
Their other dishes were a bit underwhelming in terms of presentation and taste.
It’s a good place to be social though.
