We showed up, party of 21, with no reservation. Only had a 20 minute wait time as they prepared a spot for us. After ordering our drinks, we started to get rained on and the staff quickly got us moved to some spots that opened up under the awning, to be covered from the rain.
Because we were such a large group, it took 45 minutes for all of us to receive our appetizers. Entrees were all out about 45 minutes after that. Total time there was 2.5 hours, and all of it was worth it. The place was a full house all night, no empty seats, and the entire staff doing their best to accommodate everyone. They were very very nice and helpful and attentive the entire time we were there. 10/10 would be back…. but maybe a smaller group .
They also had Ducks, lots of Ducks.

This was my first time here. My family eats here about once a month and has raved about the food and relaxing atmosphere. I absolutely loved it! The service was excellent, servers are super friendly and attentive. We chose to sit outside, the weather was perfect. We had shrimp nachos for an appetizer and we all had shrimp alfredo for our meal. Everything was cooked to perfection and very fresh! I can’t wait to come back and try something different! We also had a side of baked beans and they were really, really good too!!

Cool place on Logan Martin, motorcycle accessible. Nice to sit with a view of the water. The food was better than anticipated for the winter season. Shrimp and grits were great, I’m told. I had the Grouper dinner, which was fine, but about what you’d get at Long John Silver’s or Captain D’s.

I love the burgers here, the seafood platter, catfish, salads, and tacos. Lots of other good things on the menu. Nice casual atmosphere with a good view.

We were traveling through and this little place popped up and sounded like a place we needed to stop and eat. Can’t say enough about how good the food was in the atmosphere looking out on the lake while we ate was the best! Don’t pass this one up you got to stop you won’t be disappointed.

Some of my coworkers were in town for a meeting. I wanted to take them someplace with good food & great views. Everyone loved it. I had the seafood platter. I asked for my fish and shrimp blackened, but it came out fried. They quickly corrected the error and brought me my blackened items. I had so much food in left that my husband and I were both able to eat the leftovers the next night. Great service. Our group was checked on often. My husband’s mahi was very good as well.

Went to The Back Porch Restaurant last evening. I had heard great reviews of this establishment. They were all right. The food was wonderful, the service was great, and the atmosphere was out of this world. There were several servers that checked on the table, but the main young lady was Jennifer, who did an outstanding job. If you go and get the chance, sit outside on one of the porches. The views are very nice. It is another reviewer who started “of the beaten path” but, in my opinion, well worth the drive.

So I have been hearing about this “off the beaten path” restaurant for quite a while and decided to take a trip to see what the hype was about! The hype is real! The food is awesome, the service is great, the Lakeview is spectacular! Did I mention how great the food IS! ♀️The prices are reasonable! If you have been wanting to go to the back porch, do not put it off any longer! Go, NO RUN as soon as you can!!

Was a little disappointed this cool Friday night (1/23). Made plans on eating at the Back Porch after watching a little barrel racing. Arrived at 7:45 PM and as we started to get out of the car they turned off the OPEN sign. Hours of operation on their Website said open until 9PM. My husband walked up and asked are y’all still serving and they turned the 4 of us away! That being said, if you are looking for some good food and great entertainment head on down to Sweet Home Saloon & Grill.
