My family and I went to celebrate our 34th wedding anniversary. This was our first and definitely won’t be the last visit. We absolutely loved it. Our server Justin made us feel right at home. Food was phenomenal. Needed to be wheeled out I was so full. Can’t wait to go back. Make sure to make reservations.

Been there a few times, this is the only time disappointed. We ordered the special lobster it was $120 just for that dish and we were not told by the servant when we order. most of item on the menu is 40.50 , when you have something that expensive and called it special, it shhould not be especially expensive, and it didnt taste120$ good.

Great food, especially the prime rib. Huge piece and was beautifully done! It was succulent and well-seasoned (not overdone, too). Only downside was that the mashed potatoes and green beans were too salty for my taste and knocked it down a star. Had the Moscow mule and they packed in the liquor. I also thought the tables were too close together and thought it was a bit loud even though there weren’t many people in the room.

I have been to Macon many times and tend to hit the well known restaurants downtown. I’m thrilled with my choice to go outside of my norm! From the moment I pulled into the parking lot seeing the quaintly lit, tucked away gem, to last sip of coffee accompanied by the most spectacular pecan bourbon bread pudding. The menu offers an incredible mix of land and sea along with 3 specials. I chose the Chilean Sea bass Niciose which I can’t sing the praises of enough. My server Justin along with other staff members were very attentive and their service was exceptional. This is an absolute darling in Macon and I can’t recommend enough!

The restaurant was closed for our private event here and it was very nice. The staff was on point serving our food and drinks. We were able to laugh, fellowship, and take pictures. The set menu was very good with great choices to select from. I had the crab cakes.

The first restaurant I saw off the interstate in Macon was Red Lobster, it didn’t look great from the outside and had 3.5 stars, so I googled restaurants close to me and Back Burner was 2 miles away. The service ( I think Dustin was the name of my waiter) was amazing, the ambience was 5 stars, and the food was incredible. I don’t spend any time in Macon, but I may drive back to eat here. It was that good. What an amazing stop! I had the Chilean Sea Bass and bread pudding and was very pleased.
