Small restaurant with a bar, and tavern style ambiance.
-our waitress was very welcoming and friendly
-I loved the cauliflowers – so good!
-espresso martinis were ok
-my partner got a burger
-I was recommended the veggie burger…. Since it was in house made: Honestly it was disappointing …it was basically all rice, tomato , lettuce, one small avocado and seasoning and very little of that as well…when the waitress asked if I liked it…I told her it tastes like a burrito in a burger bun…it’s ok…it didn’t match the price worth…

The atmosphere was really relaxing here and everyone working was really nice. The Cider was really good!! The smash burger was okay but wasn’t bad. My friends loved their salads; we got some fries and they were good. I added some salt to help with the seasoning part.

Fun, yummy and local. The bartender on the random Monday we stopped by was so kind and fun. We had great drinks and food. Would come back!

NOT A PLACE FOR VEGETARIANS / VEGANS. The vegetarian bean burger was entirely made of just rice and seasoning, with a little bit of bean skins mixed in. Very misleading and gross. The picture speaks for itself.
They served it and priced it the same as a real beef burger ($15), and did not offer to take it off the bill when we spoke up, though only 2 bites had been taken.
Otherwise the waitress was very friendly and sweet, it was just an awkward position.
Overall the food quality here wasn’t so great, except for the fries lol

I haven’t been there since they changed ownership. Nice vibe. We went for Valentines and did the fixed menu for food and drinks. The cocktails were spot on and the bartenders were pros. The antipasto salad was great, the pork Milanese main dish was really schnitzel. Tasty but a bit bland and no sauce. The Schwaben area of Germany (which the flavor reminded me of) would have been disappointed.

Came here during October in Salem; it was so nice to beat the crowds and enjoy a quiet dinner here. I got wings and a salad- wings were sauced perfectly. I got the Carolina gold and it was very tangy and nice. Smaller wings but cooked to perfection. Mom and I split fries (which were AMAZING- thick and salty!!!) and she got a turkey sandwich. Great quality meal, great service, great drink section!!

This was our first stop because it was closest to our hotel that we stayed in and we shared an Italian sub which was enormous and delicious. We came back later that evening for drinks and we had a great time.

My friends and I came here on a Friday night for a little reunion. We were expecting The Babe to be slightly “lowkey,” however, we were met with a shockingly fun and vibrant atmosphere! We were under the impression that, after October, it would be quieter, but the entire restaurant was packed. Even more surprising, there was themed karaoke My friends and I thought, why not?! And had a blast singing with the crowd! The servers were spectacular and incredibly polite, however a bit understaffed with the amount of customers there were. The food was 10/10 and the cocktails were even better. Even though we were expecting to hang out and chat, the karaoke ended up being the highlight of our night!! Thanks to the Babe and to the wonderful Salem crowd! We’ll definitely be back ❤️
