We have dined in, have also driven thru many times, Skylar and His employees are top notch, and the Food is always great I love the beef stew, and Ham Loaf , to name a few. My Husband Loves the Cuban ,He also enjoys the variety of beer too. ..The macaroon cookies are fabulous nice atmosphere, and read the story about how they got the name axe-handle, interesting history. Thankful for this small town busy.

First time here. Good meal and great service. Nice family atmosphere. A fair selection of craft beers and 25 bourbons. Empanadas were a nice surprise. They have a large specialty sandwich menu plus a special during the week, plus 4 home made dinners on the weekend. The dried tomato dip was a very good appetizer. Try a beer flight and sample them all.

This is a new favorite place for my family and myself. We had a party of 14, and our server, Jenna I believe was outstanding. Very knowledgeable of the menu and history of the place. French dip was out of this world! The panko coated chicken was a dish I could eat weekly. Bravo Axe Handle!

Party of six, we were only allowed to order from the front of the menu. I ordered the Chicken Cesar Sub. One slice of processed chicken meat, one slice of cheese, some lettuce and sun-dried tomato’s, zero seasoning on spongy baguette. Could have had a foot-long at Subway for under the $10 I paid at the Axe. Friend ordered Pesto and Pea Salad with grilled chicken. No chicken found anywhere in salad but we were charged $3 extra. Then the bill…. CC Surcharge, $.75? Automatic Gratuity of $19.66 with a line below asking for a further gratuity? Wow, what a waste of time money and effort. Beautiful interior and ambiance, excellent service.
