Very cozy place. They had a special, meatloaf sandwich, very good.
The roast beef was okay. A little bit too heavy on the creamy white sauce.
The Mediterranean hummus dish was very tasty.
Our waitress was extremely nice and on point with everything.

Had a wonderful meal at this very quaint restaurant in small town America. My date and I both had the ham loaf special and it was delicious. You wouldn’t expect a place like this in a small Ohio town but I’m glad it’s there

I’d give The Axe-Handle more than five stars if I could! We hosted a bridal shower here and everything was wonderful!! Quiche, fruit, and salad – all delicious! The ladies all loved the mimosas! Wynn, our server, was so attentive and friendly. Skyler, was a great communicator and put together a wonderful luncheon for us. It was a great celebration!!

First time here. Good meal and great service. Nice family atmosphere. A fair selection of craft beers and 25 bourbons. Empanadas were a nice surprise. They have a large specialty sandwich menu plus a special during the week, plus 4 home made dinners on the weekend. The dried tomato dip was a very good appetizer. Try a beer flight and sample them all.

Absolutely amazing sandwiches. Left feeling full. 1911 Cider was extremely good tap choice. We had the pastrami (can’t remember menu name) and will definitely be back for more. A Gracie was an absolute amazing server.
