Delicious dinner! I had planned to explore more of downtown Tulsa for dinner but when I stopped in for a drink at the Hyatt Regency I discovered this place. Once I took a look at the menu I thought there was no reason to go anywhere else. I had a great server named David who made wonderful recommendations. The Buratta Caprese was so good accompanied with the arugula and pesto. I then had the Frenched Chicken which was so juicy and the skin was crisped to perfection. Followed up with the cobbler for dessert. It was good but a tad too sugary for my liking on the crust. Next time going through Tulsa I will visit here again! The menu has a little bit of something for everyone.

I decided to try The Avery in Tulsa on New Year’s Day, mainly because most restaurants in downtown Tulsa were closed. I’m so glad I did! From start to finish, it was one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time.
First off, the service was exceptional. Our bartender/server, Stevie, absolutely made the evening. She had such a positive, upbeat attitude that created the perfect atmosphere for a laid-back but still special dining experience. Her knowledge of the menu was impressive, and she really made us feel welcome. Honestly, I think Stevie deserves a promotion—her energy and attention to detail were top-notch.
As for the food, I was originally eyeing the pork chop, but unfortunately, they were out of pork that day. No worries though, I decided to go with the frenched chicken, and it was incredible. The flavor was so rich and tender—it honestly might have been one of the best culinary experiences I’ve had in a while. Each bite was just perfect.
To top it off, I finished my meal with a cobbler for dessert, and I’m not exaggerating when I say it was the best cobbler I’ve ever had in my life. The balance of sweet and warm, with just the right amount of crunch on top—it was the perfect way to end a meal.
All in all, The Avery turned out to be a hidden gem, and I’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for great food, excellent service, and a memorable experience.

We had a wonderful meal! Our server was helpful and very professional. We had the carbonara and a chicken with Marsala mushroom sauce. They were both delicious. It was not a traditional carbonara but also very delicious. I am sad they no longer have the pot pie.

Not sure why this place only has a 4-star average. I was seated promptly, the server got me setup quickly and was attentive. I ordered the double bone pork chops, and it was delicious! The atmosphere was pleasant too.

Update: Been going here for weeks now due to travel for my job. The bartenders are great. Still rate this 5 stars.

We did it all.

Drunks the first night. Their Old Fashion is top notch.

Breakfast the next morning had substantial portions, and all of the food was cooked perfectly.

Dinner the following night with a family of 4 was really good.

The best part of the entire experience was the service. The manager checked on us multiple times, and offered some advice on places to visit during our stay. He was also very knowledgeable of the history of the downtown area.

The entire waitstaff was very professional, and worked well together to make sure all tables were serviced efficiently.

We had the pleasure of eating breakfast with my daughter this morning at The Avery Kitchen & Bar, and it was such a wonderful experience. Katie’s service was absolutely phenomenal. Attentive, kind, and genuinely warm. Katie made us feel so welcomed and taken care of from start to finish. Nick also stopped by our table, and he was just as friendly and professional.

I truly believe service can make or break a meal. The food can be mediocre, but great service leaves a lasting impression. That said, this time we didn’t have to choose. The food came out absolutely delicious. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared.

Between the incredible service and the amazing food, it made for such a special breakfast with my girl. We will definitely be back!

Had dinner here during a recent stay at the Hyatt. Food, service and ambiance were all excellent. Due to the heat, we dined inside. In nicer weather there’s a very nice outdoor seating area that overlooks the pretty park area below. I recommend this restaurant for downtown dining in Tulsa even if you’re not a guest of the hotel. Restaurant will validate valet parking also.

The absolute best! My husband made reservations for our 10 year anniversary. When we showed up right at the entrance was beautiful and welcoming! As we were escorted to our table they had our area decorated with rose petals and hearts, the set up was beautiful and the view over the courtyard and downtown. The food from the spinach dip appetizer to the blue cheese crusted pork chops to the sundae dessert! Not even to mention the cocktails were simply amazing! The service was nothing but perfect to the hostess to waiter to the managers etc. Thank you Avery Kitchen & Bar for an amazing night!
