Enjoyed a wonderful anniversary dinner here. The appetizer was phenomenal, but the main dishes were OK for the price we were charged. Service and the view of the golf course and ocean were fantastic as well.

This was a disappointing dining experience. First the oysters Rockefeller are fabulous. Past that tge meal was well below par. My wife had tge fresh catch, flounder. It seemed rubbery and not fresh. The veggies were a mixture of root veggies that seemed out of place. I had grouper that was good but again the veggies were out of place. Just not tge experience we have been accustomed to for the last 13 years.
As an aside, who decide tge holidays would be a good time to remodel the Ryder Cup bar??

Executive Chef Ondo was so kind and friendly to our table. What an inviting experience he provided. Our server Rodney didn’t seem emotionally invested while hosting our table but no problems with the food. The Atlantic Room is deserving of five stars.

The food here was very good and the service was exceptional. Our server was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and the history of the local area.

The wine list is expansive and there is something for everyone. I loved the shrimp and grits.

The view of the golf course and ocean from each table is incredible.

The crowd is always good and the food is exceptional each time we go to Kiawah Island. The ambience is very relaxing and really makes the dining experience here so good.
We had the hot dogs with Cole slaw, burger, pastrami sandwich and the wings

The best thing about this restaurant is the view!! It is a 5 star view. Having dinner here is cheaper than a round on the Ocean Course but a great way to see the course! It’s right at the 18th hole so if you get an early dinner you’ll enjoy sewing golfers finish out their round. I recommend if you’re staying on the Island to have a dinner here!

Giving 5 stars because it doesn’t compare to other restaurants I’ve been to in the same price point. There was a lack of attention to detail and the menu options were a bit lack-luster. There was nothing bad about the experience, it just was not 5 stars.

I still recommend for the view & eating at 18th hole on ocean course!

If you want a peaceful romantic dinner with a view and five star service this is the place. They really took care of us for our 5 year wedding anniversary and it couldn’t have been a better experience.

Big disappointment. Atmosphere with the views of the 18 hole and the Atlantic Ocean were amazing. Everything else was a disappointment. I agree with a previous review that an expensive restaurant does not guarantee quality. And in this case the quality was overall below average. The service was below average and the sides were served without serving utensils. The crispy shrimp appetizer was excellent as was the tuna tartare. The entrees were below average, especially considering the price. I had the Captain’s Stew which included a pathetically small piece of the fresh catch of the day. The pappardelle was dry and bland. The fresh catch was the best dish. The great views and atmosphere were also overshadowed by all the babies and toddler in attendance. I was surprised to see how many people brought toddlers and babies to dinner which created chaos and noise. After dinner we went out to the putting green for some photos and one family literally had set up a picnic on the putting green for their young family. Can you imaging setting up a picnic on the putting green of a world class golf course? I would recommend coming for the photos and views, having a drink at the bar, and getting dinner somewhere else. Dinner at the Atlantic room was not worth the price.

Beautiful dining room with sweeping views of the Kiawah island golf course and ocean! However the food is lacking. It would be great if soy was omitted from many of the dishes as soy is a common allergy.
