Reviews
The food was authentic Portuguese and absolutely delicious. I ordered the flamed chorizo, which was excellent, and my husband had the octopus. It was perfectly prepared and full of flavor. We will definitely be coming back with the whole family.
The service was just as impressive. The staff was warm, attentive, and made us feel truly welcome from start to finish. They were knowledgeable about the menu and made great recommendations.
If you’re looking for delicious Portuguese cuisine and outstanding service, Atlantic Portuguese Restaurant is definitely a must-visit. I can’t wait to go back!
It starts with the inviting, newly redone rear entrance, which immediately sets the tone for what’s inside. The entire restaurant has been transformed with fresh paint, modern new floors, wood accents, and an overall feeling that is clean, bright, and elevated while still keeping the heart of what Atlantic has always been.
The service was outstanding. One of the owners went above and beyond for every single table. While we were waiting for our Camarão à Guilho appetizer, they brought out a generous bowl of delicious olives, a fresh loaf of crusty bread with oil, and even a warm stuffed bread with ham and olives that the owner personally shared with us. Those thoughtful touches made the experience feel so special. Even the wine carafes were beautiful.
My husband and I ordered the Picadinho de Carne and the Bacalhau à Gomes de Sá, and both were absolutely incredible. The expanded menu is like a love letter to Portugal, filled with everything I adore about Portuguese cuisine and more. The variety is unbelievable.
If you haven’t been since the reopening, do yourself a favor and go. It’s still the Atlantic everyone loves, just refreshed and elevated in the best way.
I’ll definitely be coming back and would recommend it to anyone looking for a great meal.
