I recently had the chance to visit The Armory Speakeasy at The Post, and let me tell you, it was quite the experience! As soon as you step in, you’re greeted with a cozy, stylish atmosphere that feels like you’ve traveled back in time. The dim lighting and vintage decor really set the mood for a relaxed evening.
The drink menu is impressive. I tried a couple of their signature cocktails, and each one was crafted to perfection. You can really tell that the bartenders put thought into their creations. They were balanced and flavorful, without overwhelming the palate. Plus, the staff was friendly and knowledgeable, eager to recommend their favorites.
The vibe in the speakeasy is just fantastic. It’s perfect for enjoying a night out with friends or having a more intimate conversation. I loved how it felt exclusive yet inviting at the same time. Music played softly in the background, enhancing the whole experience without being too distracting.
One of the highlights for me was the little touches throughout the evening, from the detailed menu descriptions to the overall ambiance. It all came together to create a memorable outing. If you’re looking for a place that’s unique and full of charm, The Armory Speakeasy is definitely worth a visit!

5 stars all around. The drinks were great- highly recommend the key lime martini, black ops espresso and smoked old fashion.
Cheese board was very good and the empanada was delicious.
The negatives: 1) It is far from home so I can only go here when I am on vacation 🙁
2) Their drinks are SO good, that I am now spoiled!. I will be constantly comparing any drinks I have anywhere else to the drinks I had here, and they won’t even come close!
These are the best drinks I have ever had and likely will ever have. Highly recommend!

This spot is a must visit while in Key Largo! We came for drinks after dinner, and they were the best cocktails we’ve ever had. The whole experience was unique and fun, with the food and drinks matching the theme. Our server was also excellent and so kind.

Great food, great service, and the most unique atmosphere in Key largo. If you’re tired of the same Sysco truck keys food, do yourself a favor and try this place. The food is amazing, and you get an experience that is fun and nostalgic at the same time. With authentic veterans and military items decorating the walls, and the 1940’s music. It creates an ambience that is different from anything else in the keys.

I have always wanted to come in here. We came in just for drinks for a birthday celebration and we were not disappointed. The Key Lime Martini is an absolute must, it mine as well be your dessert too. The espresso martini was smooth and the old fashion was smoked at the table.

A great experience! It was quite crowded when we visited on a Saturday night, but luckily there was no wait. Food and drink were excellent. The slow braised short ribs were so tender and flavorful, and we also really enjoyed the loaded fries and the chicken wings (which is not on the menu – but tasted really good!). Will definitely come back next time in key largo!

What an absolutely amazing hidden gem in Key Largo!!! We stopped in the Islamorada welcome center and the host there enlightened us on this place. I thought it was a gun store from the outside, but turn out that it is an old VFW converted to a Speakeasy. The Smoke sold Fashioned made with Horse Soldier was phenomenal!!! The smoking process was exceptional. The Key Lime drink was great!!! We started with the Charcuterie. The truffle Pacheco cheese was amazing. The empanadas and the Tuna Poke on crispy rice cakes had a wonderful amount of heat. The entree of short ribs was the most flavorful we’ve ever had. We finished off with more drinks and the Zapolis with 3 sauces. This was a highlight of our trip to the Keys!!!

FINALLY something good in key largo! all the restaurants in the keys tend to blend together with their crappy, over priced fried food and cheap, plastic chairs. This place had such a cool vibe – dark and moody on the inside but with great design features in all the details. It stayed busy all night with live music and dancing. We ordered a few apps and drinks and everything tasted great. this will be our new go to spot down here!
