I’ve wanted to visit for a while ever since I saw The Apple Pan featured on Youtube, but after my meal I was kind of disappointed.

Finally had a chance after a coworker raving about it. And noticing Google having high scores, so basically – the food is good quality – great bread, great quality meat, great fries, and there is the problem, this feels like burger were when they first started. And if u get the same quality ingredients, you can make these at home. Their sauce is unique- I’ll give them that, but it not the best sauce either. You either like it or you don’t. They’re fries has absolutely no taste, but salt and pepper clears that up and some ketchup. And lastly they’re pies, so for banana and chocolate cream pies, these unfortunately seem more like great tasting pudding on some pie crust. I’ve had way better. Now the pudding might taste better than maybe like the magnolia bakery – it doesn’t taste as a pie.. but overall- ok place

I’ve been going to this place since the 50s. Now I live 100 miles away, so it’s been decades since I’ve been there. Was visiting a relative in a nearby town, so I made it a point to drive over to grab a “Hickory Burger” to see if they were still as great as I remembered. Wasn’t disappointed! Apple Pan is still amazing! Sadly, their prices have gone way up, but still worth it!

I’ve had pies from The Apple Pan before, but just ate at the restaurant itself for the very first time and I absolutely loved it. The indoor seating is iconic as you sit around a U-shaped bar on swivelling chairs. My friend and I both tried both burgers, but prefered the hickory burger. The barbeque sauce on it was fantastic. The fries are the least exciting part of the meal but if you season them with some salt they get better. I definitely recommend the apple pie and banana cream pie, though their ice cream was not great and could’ve been more flavourful with better texture.

It’s fine. A lot of hype for this place which I don’t get but to each their own. I’m glad they had the impossible burger though. And the fries portion is also fairly generous.
