They catered our wedding oct 2025 and they did everything so well and at such a great price. They were so easy to work with and communicate with. Their servers jumped right in when we had no one to cut the cake, it was amazing how they all went above and beyond.

Great local food! The quality is always there. They’re kind and receptive with a welcoming atmosphere. It’s definitely worth a try, especially if you have been there.

This is a nice little gem in Porterville. The food is always delicious if you’re a fan of barbecue
I haven’t ever ordered anything except the Hobo Sandwich, which is tri tip shredded with grilled onions on a crispy, french hoagie roll, smothered in your choice if barbecue sauce (sweet or spicy).
I always opt for spicy. It’s about 15 dollars per person and well worth it, as the food is extremely filling.
There is also a little side bar with condiments of your choosing, including extra BBQ sauces, peppercloncinis, jalapeños, salsa, etc.
I recommend grabbing plenty of napkins, something to drink from either the fountain drinks or the fridge and sitting at one of the picnic tables outside.

DON’t GET THE HOBO SANDWHICH!!! Just got one and it was a disappointment coming from this place. I’ve had there other sandwiches and they’re good. But this sandwich the Tritip had too much fat and it was rubbery. No wonder they call it a hobo sandwich, only a hobo would eat it. It’s like meat that is no good they throw it in this sandwich.

Sits at the end of a strip mall, but the food is fantastic! Don’t miss this one if you like a dry rub on your ribs. The baked beans were the best we’ve ever had, and the pasta salad was great! Only so-so part of the meal was the bread. Would definitely eat here again.

Nice place to have a meal. Decent seating for small groups. The tri tip and pasta salad were delicious. The beans were described as having small tri tip pieces and spicy, but none were found (just spicy pinto beans). Bread was a little too toasty, but eatable. Overall the food was good, but a little pricey for the portions given.
Reception from the clerk was less than enthusiastic, but okay. Clerk needs to improve on customer service.

This place is amazing. Best old-school BBQ I’ve had in CA. The spicy beans are out of this world. Pulled pork, wet ribs, sauces, everything just top notch. Watch out, the coleslaw is a little spicy (but also delicious!)
